Rose's POV

* One Week Later *

"... So then Roberto jumped of the galaxy fighter and... " Jack continued his story until I cut him off.

" Jack why're you stalling? Where's The Doctor? It's been a day since he's been gone and I'm worried, I miss him. " I look down saddened.

" Rosie.. I can't tell you. I'm sorry. " He frowns.

I shout " Bloody Hell you can tell me! He's my fiancé! "

" This is for your own well being and you're starting to sound like your mother. " Jack chuckles

" Shut it Harkness! I'm serious! "

Speaking of my mum I should probably give her a ring. It's been a while.

" Hey mum, It's Rose. How're you? "

" Rosie!!! Oh I'm splendid! So is your little brother! and Mickey too! " Mum cheerfully states.

" Heh, that's good. "

Mum asks " Rose honey, is there something bugging you? "

" The Doctor has been missing for a day, Jack won't tell me where he is and I miss him. " My voice breaks

" Oh Rose. I'm sure he'll be back. He loves you and wouldn't stay away from you too long! I know that he'll be back soon. " Mum tries to comfort me.

" Oh sweetie! Can I call you back shortly your brother is crying and he just threw up on Mickey! " She panics

" It's fine. " I breathily laugh.

" Love You! Bye. "

" Love you too mum... "

(End Of Call)

Ulfh.

I fall back onto our bed and start to think.

' Where is he? '
' What's he doing? '
' Is he alone? '
' Is he cheating? '
' Does he love me? '
' What are they hiding? '

After all of this thinking it leads to dark thoughts.

I begin to cry very loud. I shove my face into a pillow and cry into it like a teenage girl after her first breakup. I pound my fist hardly into the bed a lot.

I eventually grow tired and slowly fall asleep.

" Oh Rose... " I hear Jack's voice just before I drift off.

Jack's POV

I watch Rose as she cries and feel horrible, I wish I could just explain but I cannot. I promised.

I take off her shoes and socks and tuck her in. I wipe her tears and kiss her goodnight.

" The Doctor won't be back for a while honey. " I whisper stroking Rose's hair.

She looks so sad as she sleeps.

Third Person
( Flashback )

" Jack I need you to watch over Rose while I'm gone, It's important that you do-not speak a word of this to her. " The Doctor speaks to Jack

" Of course. " Harkness sighs

( End of Flashback )

Jack's POV

I turn off Rose's bedroom light as I exit her room. I close the door on my way out.

I head back to my own room and attempt to fall asleep.

Rose's POV
( In her nightmare )

" I'm sorry Rose but I don't love you anymore. " The Doctor tells me as he walks off with another girl.

" NO! Please come back! I love you! " I try to scream but nothing comes out.

" I never loved you! " He spits at me.

" Pathetic "

" Worthless "

" Daft "

Words get thrown at me.

( end of nightmare )

" AGGH! " I cry

" Rose! " Jack bursts through the door.

He crawls into my bed and cradles me in his arms.

" He never loved me. " I sob

" Rose its okay it's just a nightmare, of course he loves you! "

" No he doesn't. " I curl up into a ball on Jack's lap.

" Rosie.. " He whispers. " I'm sorry. "

' He's only been gone for two days and I'm already driving myself and Jack crazy. '

" No I'm sorry. " I look up and tell him,
" Can you stay with me tonight, like in a brotherly way? " I beg

" Anything for you. " He smiles warmly.

He tucks me in and I lay on his arm. I fall asleep without any nightmares this time.

I hope The Doctot will be back soon...
