Marcy regained her consciousness as she rubbed her eyes to clear her blurry vision. She turned her head to see Anne's arms wrapped around her waist and Sasha's arms wrapped around her stomach. A baby pink blush formed on her face. And then it all sunk in. The feeling of embarrassment flooded through Marcy as she remembered what had happened the night before. 'God did I really cry in front of Sasha and Anne like that?! I'm such an idiot! They probably think I'm so lame right now!' Marcy thought.
Marcy shook her head to prevent any more thoughts from roaming her brain and looked up at Sasha who was still asleep, with her arms wrapped around her stomach. Marcy, not realizing what she was doing, brought her face closer to Sasha's and placed a kiss on her forehead. Marcy made sure not to wake Sasha up or kiss her lips, that would be rude without her consent.
Marcy scanned Sasha's facial features as a blush began to form across her cheeks. Marcy had always thought of Sasha as gorgeous. Her plump peachy colored lips and her sharp jawline makes Marcy's heart pound outside of her chest. Her eyes, deep pools of glacial blue, made Marcy want to dive in on a hot sunny day and start swimming in it while watching the sunset. Even if Marcy was with her she wouldn't even need a blue sky because all she had to do was look her in the eyes. Her pale white skin and her toned muscles just made Marcy want to be picked up in bridal style with those strong arms. And Anne, oh Anne. Gorgeous and caring Anne. Anne always made her heart skip a beat. The way she looked into her eyes, or planted a kiss onto her forehead, or held her hand and caressed it with her thumb, it was just too much for Marcy's little heart to handle.
They have already began to suspect that Marcy had a crush on someone considering how weird Marcy has been acting lately. It also kind of makes Marcy ashamed. What will happen? What will her classmates think? What will her parents think? Will Anne be friends with her? Will Sasha feel uncomfortable with that fact that she has a crush on her? Will Anne's parents hate her once they find out? It's just too much to think about. Marcy has already had her little freak out once she found out about her love for them. She was confused at first, but then she realized that staring at her friends while they sleep and admiring their beauty was a "not so straight girl" thing to do.
Marcy shook her head to interrupt her thoughts as she peeled the both of their limbs off of her, the both of them staying asleep throughout it. She headed downstairs to clear her head as her heart rate started to calm down. Once she got downstairs where nobody was, she went and sat down at the kitchen table. Marcy could hear footsteps coming from the staircase, as the footsteps became closer and closer, Sasha appeared from the staircase.
Thats something Marcy hated.
Sasha was probably always the first person to wake up, luckily it was Marcy that was first to wake up with time. But she still hated it, if someone else was awake before her, she'd wake up just by the slightest movement. It's like she sleeps with one eye open or something. Sasha sleeps at the edge of the bed so that if an attacker breaks in or something bad is happening, she can get up quickly and fight. Sasha could wake up just by the smallest noise or movement, probably trauma from amphibia and all that fighting she'd done there. Marcy sleeps in the middle, so that she can feel safe and comforted whenever she had a nightmare or something. Anne always slept with her back facing the wall since she had a big imagination. She could imagine a whole lot of things. Sometimes she even imagines random demons appearing behind her while she tries to sleep, that's why she sleeps against the wall so that she doesn't have to deal with that.
"Hey marbles, whatcha doin up so early? You've never been a morning person." Sasha asked.
"Nothing really, just thinking about some things." Marcy responded.
"What's on you mind marce?" Sasha questioned.
"Well, do you ever feel like you have weird feelings, but you can't tell anyone about them or else you feel like nothing will ever be the same between you and that individual again?" Marcy asked.
"Yea, I've felt that way before. It's not a good feeling, at all. I completely relate to what your talking about mar-mar." Sasha said.
"It's just that, there's something I've been hiding for these past months. But I don't know if I'm ready to tell anyone because I'm afraid of being judged. I'm also afraid of the people I love the most not seeing me the same way as they did before. I just don't want anything to change, but I know that no matter how much we fight it or deny it, things change. I don't want that to happen at all." Marcy stated.
"You're right, things do change. But if it was me you and Anne, we would always be inseparable. Things do change, but nothing, not distance, or time, can break the bond that we share." Sasha agreed.
Marcy stared into Sasha's eyes into disbelief as a light pink blush formed on her face.
'It seems like I had nothing to worry about all along.' Marcy thought.
...
..
.
"Uh, marbles? You doin okay?" Sasha asked as she raised one eyebrow.
Marcy turned away and shook her head to break the tension as she could feel her whole face grow hot. "Y-Y-Yeah, just peachy." Marcy replied.
The two girls moment was interrupted when they both heard footsteps coming from the staircase. The footsteps came closer and closer and a familiar girl with messy brown curls and tan skin appeared from behind the stair case. "Hmmm, good morning dudes. How'd you guys sleep?" Anne greeted while yawning, still half asleep.
"Eh, I slept fine I guess. The only times where I woke up was when you guys kept moving." Sasha rolled her eyes, playfully.
"I slept well too I guess." Marcy followed, images of what happened the night before flooding through her mind.
"Awh man! My hairs all messy! I look all gross and ugly now." Anne whined.
"Well I don't see you the way you see yourself currently, I think you look more gorgeous than the most beautiful girl on earth even with your messy bed hair." Marcy said.
"Wow, I never knew our o'l marbles could be so cheesy, aren't you only like that with anime boys?" Sasha teased, and Marcy flinched after realizing what she had said.
"Awwwww! Marcy that was so sweet!" Anne squealed, pulling Marcy into a bone crushing hug and placing a kiss onto her blushed cheek.
Marcy froze for a moment as she placed her palm on the cheek that Anne had connected her lips to. Butterflies flooded through her stomach as non readable thoughts crowded through her head. 'AHHHHHHEHSHJDNEHWISJBDJSKSNDJZIJZNEIWI'
Marcy snapped out of it once she noticed that Sasha had opened her mouth to speak. "Well, girls. Since it's the weekend and we have no school today, why don't we have a movie night with a bunch of snacks and blankets?" Sasha suggested.
"I think that sounds nice, I also think we should watch another movie besides War Of The Warlocks that Marcy forces us to watch every movie night. Maybe a horror movie, so that Marcy can cling onto us whenever a scary part pops up on the TV." Anne teased.
Marcy's face went so read that she looked like she was on fire, she could swear they could even she smoke coming from the top of her head. "I do not! I am not a wuss!" Marcy shouted, slapping Anne on the shoulder continuously.
"Hahaha! Okay mar-mar, I'm just teasing honey." Anne said.
"Ahhhhhh!" Marcy shouted after hearing the pet name.
"Welp! I'm gonna go shower before we eat!" Anne shouted, placing another kiss on Marcy's cheek and Sasha did the same to her other cheek.
"Cya mar-mar!" Sasha shouted as she ran out of the kitchen and back upstairs.
Marcy stood in her tracks, in disbelief.
God this was heaven for her.
