Come and gone, that's the best word to describe all the women that were used to be inside his life but with the arrival of Heather – he already found the light of his life. Philip stared at his wife whom he married for almost a year, admiring her beautiful feature. At that time, the two of them were lying on the bed since it was the weekend but Heather told her husband that she was unwell and feeling slightly under the weather. She was fallen asleep with the worst menstrual cramp she ever had and nothing heals the pains other than sleeping.

Suddenly, Heather was growling in agony as she could not bear the pain that she has in her lower abdomen. In a panic state, Philip did not know what to do instead of bringing her to the hospital as soon as possible since what he knew from his wife, the menstrual pains were too unbearable. After changing into a proper outfit, Philip carried his wife to the car before he drove panickily to the nearest hospital.

"Philip, I cannot stand it anymore. This pain is too much for me." Heather said with a burst of tears in her eyes. Somehow, the pains have made her whole body aching with it. Previously, she always experienced the worst menstrual pain but this time, it just elevated to another level that she could not imagine.

"Relax, Heather. Take a deep breath. I am sure everything would be fine once we consult the doctor." He said reassuringly, still trying to focus on his driving. With his wife that was battling on her own, Philip's heart was aching to see her in the pain.

She kept on crying aguishly as the period pain that she suffered was too much this time. Luckily, they arrived at the emergency room where she was getting a medical consultation from an experienced doctor there as her situation seems serious in their eyes since Heather could not stop herself from crying and screaming in pain.

"Doctor, what is wrong with my wife?" Philip asked the doctor who has done consulting his wife. The ambience was silent and the Korean man shut his eyes – scared to hear the truth about Heather.

"Based on our observation, she seems to have endometriosis. That is the reason why she suffered from pelvic pain, especially during her period. We try to perform surgery so the cyst can be removed." She said seriously before moving to other patients that needed her for their respective consultations. Philip at that time was clueless as he never bothers or knew about the disease that Heather suffered now. Instantly, he searched on google about endometriosis and his eyes were watery.

"No wonder she always had a painful period as well as discomfort during our time together. Goodness, poor my wife." He whispered to himself, placing both of his palms on his face. With her dreams of conceiving their child this year, it seems impossible for her to get pregnant especially with her condition now.

Heather was brought to the operation room as her cyst has grown tremendously and it would be a risk for her health as well. Philip was waiting patiently for his wife outside the room with a heavy heart; kept on praying to the Almighty above to let the surgery goes well without any complications. Heather is his other half and he could not let anything happen to her. Both of their parents arrived a few minutes later after Philip made a phone call to them and informing about Heather's condition.

"Poor my little girl." Mr Miller sighed, still in disbelief with what he heard from his only son-in-law. Heather never had a chronic disease before, and this news was so hard to accept for him and his wife.

In the meantime, both Mr and Mrs Kim were reassuring their son who was drowning in the worrisome of his wife. Philip could not eat nor drink during the time Heather was in the operation room as he was worried sick about her. This time around, he could not pretend to be strong as he was just a weak young man that madly in love with his wife – and seriously the news that he received from the doctor was way too much for him to bear with it. Philip cried on the shoulder of his mother, hoping it would release all the pains, worries, and guilt from his mind.
