Chapter 16: leaving?

Lizzie's POV
It's been about 4 days since riley fell down the stairs,her arm isn't as sore anymore but it's a little bruised, I'm just making lunch right now  and scarlett and riley are setting the table, i was almost finished when i heard my phone ring so i shouted scarlett and asked her to keep a eye on the food whilst i took the call, "hello" i said "hey lizzie it's Joe, we need you and scarlett to come in tomorrow to start shooting your scene's" Joe said, oh god i had been dreading this since we got riley "umm yeah ok, what time do you want us and where do you want us to?" i asked "be at the normal studio for 11am, is that ok?" Joe asked "yeah that's fine, i'll let scarlett know" i said "ok thank you and i will see you tomorrow" Joe said and hung up the phone.

Scarlett's POV
Me and Riley woke up pretty late so Lizzie was making food for us and me and Riley were setting the table, just then I heard Lizzie's phone ring "scar can you come keep an eye on the food whilst i take this call?" she shouts through so i pick riley up and walk through to the kitchen and lizzie answers the call "mama who is lizzie one the phone to?" Riley asked "i don't know baby we will ask her when she get's back ok" i said and Riley nodded, about 5 minutes later lizzie walks in and she look kinda sad "hey whats wrong" i ask and she singles for riley to leave "riley bubs why dot you go sit at the table and well be through in a sec" i said and put her down and she walked through to the dining room "what happened?" i ask again "umm Joe just called and were both needed for shooting tomorrow" she said "wait but what about riley?" i asked and lizzie just shrugged "i could call my mum and ask her to babysit" i said "there won't be enough time for her to get here we need to be there at 11" lizzie said "oh" is all i could say

Riley's POV
When lizzie came back from her call mama asked me to go sit in the dining room so i did, after a while i heard mama say that her mum could come and babysit and that's when i started to panic 'is mama and lizzie leaving me?' 'what if mama's mum doesn't like me?' i had all these bad thought going through my head and luckily i was pulled out of them by mama "hey riley, what's wrong?" mama asked but i couldn't say anything so i got up and ran as fast as i could to my room, i could hear mama and lizzie shouting on me but i didn't stop, once i was in my room i locked the door and hid under the bed, i could hear mama banging on the door but i just covered my ears so i could only hear muffle talking and then BANG.

Scarlett's POV
When me and lizzie walked through to the dining room i noticed riley had zoned out and looked scared so i bent down the her height and asked her what's wrong she just looked at me then got up and ran to her room, me and lizzie chased after her "Riley what's wrong?" lizzie shouted but it was no use she had already reached her room and had locked the door so me and lizzie started banging on the door but riley wouldn't open it, "help me kick the door down" i said to lizzie and she looked shocked but nodded, finally after what felt like all our strength the door broke but i couldn't see riley "shhh" lizzie said so i went quiet and we heard muffle crying and my heart broke "riley?" i called out and then the crying stopped, I decided after looking in her bathroom, wardrobe and cupboards, after about 5 minutes of trying to find her I thought to check under the bed and there i saw riley who was asleep with tear stains on her face, i got lizzie to help me get her out "riley baby, can you wake up please?" i asked and she fluttered her eyes open and when she saw me she started to cry "oh baby what's wrong?" i asked and she said something that broke my heart "your leaving me, i don't want you to leave me" she said through sobbes "oh bubs we would never leave you, why do you think were leaving you?" lizzie asked "i heard you and mama talking in the kitchen" she whispered hiding her face in my neck "oh baby me and Lizzie was just talking about work, we have to go to work today but we have no one to look after you" I said and she looked up at me and nodded, I could tell she was think of something so I asked "penny for your thought?".

Riley's POV
The last thing I remember was mama and Lizzie calling my name then I must have fallen asleep because I was woke up in mama's arms, when I saw her I started to cry "oh baby what's wrong?" She asked "your leaving me, I don't want you to leave me" was all I managed to "say oh bubs we would never leave you, why do you think were leaving you?" lizzie asked "i heard you and mama talking in the kitchen" i whispered hiding my face in mama's neck "oh baby me and Lizzie was just talking about work, we have to go to work today but we have no one to look after you" mama's and I looked up at her trying to think of something "penny for your thought?" Mama said, and that's when I had a idea "I could come with you" I said in a whisper "I mean we could ask" Lizzie said and mama nodded "I'll call joe" Lizzie said walking out the room
