"Jase." I giggled, trying to wiggle out of his grip.

"Whaaat?" He chuckled, holding onto me tighter. I let out a purposely loud exasperated sigh.

"Jason, I need to get home."

He moaned, nuzzling his face in my neck, "Let me drive you, I don't feel comfortable letting you walk."

I shook my head. "No, you can't, my parents are home and if they see you drop me off I'll be in big trouble."

He sighed, kissing my shoulder softly. "Then I'm not letting go of you yet."

"Jason!" I whined, giggling at the same time.

"Fine." He mumbled, slowly letting go of me. I took a couple of steps back and he smirked, stepping forward, closer to me.

"No." I whispered, taking another few steps back only for him to take another large one towards me. "Jason, no!" I giggled, turning around but he caught my waist in his embrace, pulling me back against his chest. "Jason, this isn't funny!" I giggled, trying to pry his arms off of me.

"Says the girl who can't stop giggling." He smiled, turning me around to face him.

"You said you'd let go." I mumbled, struggling to keep myself from smiling. He bit his lip.

"Baby, I'm serious though, let me drive you home." I sighed, running my hands up his stomach to the back of his neck.

"I wish you could but I don't wanna be in trouble, Jason."

He frowned, "What if I dropped you off on the corner and you pretended you walked all the way?"

I bit my lip, thinking about it before I nodded my head, "Yeah, okay." He grinned, walking me over to his car and holding the door open for me. I giggled, "You're used to getting what you want, aren't you, McCann?"

He smirked, shrugging his shoulders "You should be used to it by now, baby."

He stated cockily before shutting the door. "Iris, put a smile on your face, you don't want to be questioned by your father later." My mom whispered to me as we walked into the living room where Enzo and his parents were sitting with the rest of my family. I sighed, forcing a smile onto my face as I sat down next to Adam.

"Look at him, the little prick." Adam hissed, glaring at Enzo. I told Adam about what happened at school and I've been having to hold him back each time he's at least within five feet of Enzo.

I sighed, wrapping my arms around Adam's torso, giving him a hug, "Forget about it, Adam."

He scoffed, "I swear, I could strangle him with my bare hands."

I giggled, "You're reminding me of Jason, now." He smiled slightly, looking down at me.

"What did lover boy have to say about this whole Enzo thing, anyway?"

I chuckled, pulling back from him and widening my eyes "He wasn't happy at all, Enzo was lucky enough to get away from him in time."

Adam smirked, "Jason would've kicked his ass, huh?"

I laughed, nodding my head. "And then some."

"Iris."

I looked up and my dad was standing at the doorway with Enzo by his side. "Would you come with us for a second?"

My dad's face was impassive, giving nothing away. I frowned, standing up, glancing at Adam for a second who shrugged in response. followed my dad and Enzo to the dining room.

"What's going on?" My dad turned to me, his eyes hard. "Enzo just told me something very upsetting."

My stomach churned and I glanced at Enzo, who held a small smirk on his lips. "Tell her what you told me, Enzo." My dad urged, his eyes not leaving me.

"Well, sir, thought you had warned Iris to stay away from Jason but by the looks of it, she hasn't been listening because I've seen them at school and they're still very much a couple."

My father raised his eyebrows at me. "Well, Iris? Do you have anything to say for yourself!?"

I gulped, my heart feeling heavy as a lump formed in my throat, I'm not gonna cry. I vow that I will not cry in front of this man I call my father.

"I love him, daddy." I stated simply, holding eye contact with him. He seemed surprised by my answer but this only sparked his anger more.

"So you haven't been listening! You've been dating him even though I gave you a clear warning to stay away from him!"

"Sir, there's something else." Enzo interrupted, a look of innocence on his face that gave me the burning desire to slap it off.

"What?" My dad asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"There are rumors that Jason is a really bad guy, that he's involved with a gang and has this massive drug syndicate with his brother"

I gasped, staring at him with wide eyes. How could he tell my father that? Is he an idiot?! My father stared at me, appalled.

"Is that true?!"

"No!" I lied through my teeth. "Those are just rumors! Enzo how dare you lie about him like that!" I glared at him, feeling anger rush through me like never before.

"Just because it's not true doesn't mean you're not in trouble for going against my order to break up with him, Iris!" My father yelled just as my mother walked in.

"What's going on?" She looked at me and I gulped.

"She's been lying to us all this time and seeing Jason behind our backs." My father answered, his eyes furious "That's it! You've pushed it too far now, you're not going back to that school."

"What?!" I yelled with wide eyes.

He nodded, "We need you where we can keep an eye on you." My breathing became heavier as he glared at me. "From now on, you'll be home schooled."
