All you could hear was forks hitting plates as our 'family" sat at the dinner table. Gaby looked at me from opposite the table, her eyes slightly glossy making my heart sink. She looked back down at her plate and I did the same. A hand is placed on back and I look up to see Adam looking down at me, his eyes looking just like Gaby's but his lips held a small, weak smile.

My father, mother, and Holly were carrying on with their dinner, they had no clue of what would be taking place later tonight, only Adam and Gaby knew. I finished up my food before standing up from the table, taking my plate with me to the kitchen. I placed it in the sink before walking up the stairs. I reached underneath my bed and pulled out the heavy suitcase that was filled with my clothes.

Yes, I decided I'm going to leave with Jason. I know what you're thinking, this is crazy, how can I just leave my family for some boy? Well he's not just some boy, he's the boy I love, the boy who's fought for me more than anyone else in my life has ever. My parents mean nothing to me compared to him. He holds my heart and he will forever, I am not willing to give him up just to please other people.

I pulled my suitcase behind my room door, leaving it there so when I had to leave I didn't need to struggle. I walked into my closet and pulled on my black leggings along with an oversized blue woollen jumper and my Nike sneakers. I walked out of the closet and over to my bed, sitting down comfortably while holding my phone in my hand. My room door opened and Gaby walked inside, shutting the door behind her quietly.

"I can't believe you're actually gonna do this." She whispered, glancing at my suitcase before looking at me. "I'm gonna miss you so much." She choked out, coming to sit down next to me.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Gabs." I whispered, wrapping my arms around her neck and pulling her into a hug. She hugged me back and I felt her tears hit my neck.

"Are you sure you w-wanna do this?"

I felt tears sting my eyes as I pulled back from out hug "I am, Gaby. I love him and if I stay here, I'll never be able to be with him or ever see him again. I've never felt this passionate about anything, Gaby, I can't let him go."

She nodded her head, tears still running down her cheeks "Okay." She sighed, sniffling.

"I love you, Iris."

"I love you too." I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Gaby, please don't cry, you're gonna
make me cry."

She smiled slightly, wiping her eyes "Sorry."

I shrugged, giving her another hug. "Jason said that whenever you want to come and visit, just tell me and he'll arrange a ticket for you, any time you want."

She smiled, pulling back from the hug "Really?"

I nodded my head, smiling back at her "Yeah."

"I want to, when school ends, I want to come and visit, tell him that." She said, her eyes looking less sad now and more excited. I giggled and nodded my head.

"I will tell him."

My room's door opened again and this time Adam walked inside, closing the door behind him before holding his arms open. I smile, jumping up from the bed before launching into his arms.
