Hi, i'm Kana. This is my second life.

Currently, I am an orphan who is working as a dog watcher as a part time job.

Ironically i had a phobia of dogs that I forced myself to get over for the sake of having a job, since I had to pay the orphanage to let me go and for my own needs.

I cannot afford school in this life and I live in a shabby cottage.

In my past life, I was an ordinary student from the 21st century.

I lived up until the age of 14, until I got hit by a truck.

Truck – kun in the more appropriate term, since I had read a few mangas in my past life.

In my past life, I had read this manga called "mairimashita!Iruma – Kun".

Which is why I recognize the demon floating in front of me right now.

"Would you like to be my grand daughter?" He spoke.

Kana stared at him, she only looked down after he put his face closer.

"My friends always boast about their grandsons and it makes me jealous!! I will buy anything you want! I will take good care of you! Please agree!"

Kana pursed her lips cutely and asked "can you read minds?"

The demon was shocked "you aren't going to ask why I have wings and horns and a tail?"

'This is certainly baffling', he thought.

She shook her head, the demon floated around her and answered "I can read minds, if I put effort into it. Since mind reading is not a very easy task for a demon, you see".

Kana smiled and gently placed her hand on top of his "please read my mind!"

And the demon did so.

'Ahhh, so many memories – eh?! What is this? She lived another life before? Why, her soul is unique! But i'm afraid that is the light creatures' department in life. Demons only live in our own world.'

"Your old world is very unique" the old demon grinned

Deviously enough this would have sent shivers to any human's back, but Kana had seen many fearsome images so this was nothing to her

"So, would you accept dear child?" The demon repeated

The girl smiled brightly "please take me away from this awful place!"

And so they have arrived at a majestic place with unique colors. The demon pulled something out of his huge pockets "Then please stamp here"

He handed Kana a stamp, Kana stamped on the old looking paper the demon held out

"Dear Kana, would you like some tea?" The demon asked

Then a tall and lean red headed butler came in

Kana was very excited "wow ~ " she gasped at the sight of his ears

"Hello Kana - Sama, my name is Opera. Please call me whenever you need me." The demon spoke

Kana bowed as well, "please take good care of me ~"

Opera blushed

Then the grandpa demon pouted "you're getting too close Opera – San"

Opera – San served some tea

Kana observed the grandpa demon, he seemed to be thinking deeply

'Come to think of it, where is Iruma?' She thought

Demon grandpa looked up from his tea, feeling her gaze

"Ah, Kana – Kun~ you might get lonely here, being the only human... would you like to have a brother?"

It had come to Kana that Iruma hadn't arrived yet

She nodded furiously "yes yes ~ A brother would be nice ~"

Demon grandpa smiled "then I will have two grandkids ~ yey!"

"Would you like to go shopping?" – demon grandpa

"If grandpa will come with me ~" – Kana

"What's your favorite color?" – demon grandpa

"I don't have one, I base what I like on the shades ~" – Kana

Grandpa and granddaughter talked until sun down

"Dinner is ready." Opera – San rang a small bell

"Ah, can you eat these?" The demon grandpa worried

This is their first time to feed a human

Kana smiled "I will pick what I can."

Truthfully, some dished didn't look very appetizing, but Kana must keep her manners

"Please feel free to tell us what you like ~" the demon grandpa reassured her

"I will ~" she said

After dinner, Opera lead Kana to her room

It was white and blue

"Sullivan – Sama said you may change anything you wish after getting all the things you need tomorrow." Opera said

"Grandpa said I will go to a demon school? Will we will also get my school supplies tomorrow?" Kana asked

Opera nodded quietly "Sullivan – Sama told me to go with you instead"

Then Kana was left alone

She stared at the ceiling and thought about the events that happened this day
