Teach me Grandpa!

Kana, Opera, Sullivan and Iruma went home that night.

Iruma is being carried by the grandpa demon to the mansion, asleep.

"Iruma really got tired~" said Kana in a sing-song voice.

"Well, humans need more rest than demons do. Aren't you tired, Kana – chan?" Sullivan asked as he carefully opened Iruma's bedroom door with his magic.

"Not really, performances keep my heart pumping." Kana grinned cheekily as she poked Iruma's cheeks.

He showed a disturbed face and Kana sniggered.

Opera and Sullivan smiled at the whilesome scene.

Kana notcied this and shifted away from the bed.

"Uhh...grandpa." Kana pursed her lips.

"Yes~" Sullivan waited excitedly for what Kana would say, loving the fact he got called grandpa again.

Kana shifted.

"I wanna lear- never mind" Kana excused herself and went out of Iruma's room.

Kana was supposed to say she wanted to learn how to invest but got too shy in front of her grandpa's earnest face, and because Opera was also looking.

'Eris, could you possible teach me about business and investing?' She thought.

The cat appeared and circled around her foot.

'Oh~ I could, but why do you want to learn? Your grandpa is litterally a noble, no problem with money.' It said telepathically.

Kana sighed as she entered her room.

'Eris, he's not even my real grandpa. I don't like asking people for favors, heck I don't even ask my family for favors. Help me out, please~' Kana pouted with her hands together.

The cat rolled it's eyes and books of all sizes popped out of nowhere.

'Here. The small ones are the more detailed oriented. Read the bigger ones first, i'll be here if tou have questions.'

The cat purred and laid itself on the foot of Kana's bed.

Kana heaved at the sight of the books.

"Thanks."

Kana got to work and laid the books out on her floor after locking her door.

After a while of reading, there was a knock on her door.

"Kana – chan~ it's me, grandpa~" Sullivan called out.

"Uhh- hold on a munite grandpa, i'm gonna fix my things." Kana panicked as she looked at Eris.

The cat opened one eye and the books dissapeared.

Kana opened her door.

"Yes, granpa?" Kana blinked.

Sullivan stared at her.

"Hmmm...what did you want to say a while ago Kana – chan? You can tell grandpa!" Sullivan wanted to help.

Kana scratched the back of her head.

"Nothing, grandpa. I just wanted to ask if Eris napping on her back is normal."

It's true, Kana did want to know that.

The cat in question yowled and dissapeared.

Kana stared at the spot where she laid a while ago.

Sullivan knew this wasn't what she wanted to ask earlier but he nodded.

"I don't really know about cats from your world, maybe you should ask Iruma – kun tomorrow. It's getting late, you should sleep lots Kana – chan! You are a growing child!" Sullivan dotted on her.

Kana sighed.

"Not really, I was 14 when I died in my previous life. So i'm 28 here, mentally" Kana looked at the ground.

Sullivan picked her up and laid her down at her bed.

"Still a child. You died at 14 therefore your mentally continuing to grow at a 14 year old." Sullivan told her.

Kana couldn't help but giggle.

"Now, go to sleep." Sullivan closed the door quietly.

But Kana got up after hearing his footsteps dissapear.

'Eris.' She said mentally.

The books appeared but the cat was nowhere to be found.

'Must be a bit mad I used her as an excuse a while ago.' Kana grinned.

That night, Kana stayed up studying the economy and transactions of the Netherworld.
