Striving Efforts!
Right now, Kana and Iruma are standing in front of Sullivan – sama in their backyard.
The 'rank advancement class' is next week.
Kana and Iruma are nervous because both their allies and opponents in the game are absolute demons.
The difference of their abilities are obvious.
"Please give us training, principal!" Iruma and Kana bowed.
"Jeez~ Didn't I say to call me 'Grandpa' out of school!" Sullivan – sama pouted.
"Sorry~" "s-sorry." The siblings said.
Sullivan – sama twirled the ball on his fingertips.
"Well, shall I throw lightly first?"
"Grandpa, i'm weak with ball games..." Kana's knees buckled.
Iruma stared at the ball on his hands.
"I'm not very good at this, y'know."
Sullivan – sama encouraged his grandkids.
"You'll be fine if you do as I say! Widen your stand a bit more, Iruma. And don't draw your right arm back too far...Kana...get ready...now shout as you throw the ball, Ribera!" He coached.
Iruma's ring glowed as the ball left his fingertips.
"Huh- ri...Ribera!" Iruma shouted.
Kana squeezed her eyes unconsciously, 'I desire to catch the ball!'
A dragon light guided Iruma's ball tand shoot it to the sky.
Suddenly, Kana was up in the air and caught the ball. Then she fell.
"Aaaaaaahhhh!"
Plop, Sullivan – sama caught her.
"This is great practice! No problem with you two!" Sullivan – sama held up an OK sign.
"How is that no problem!?" The siblings chorused.
Kana groaned "we don't want to use magic, grandpa~!"
Iruma nodded furiously.
Sullivan – sama was confused.
"Why not? Isn't it easier?" He asked.
Iruma sighed "well... using magic is something like cheating, specially for me because i'm using Your power. This time, i'd like to do something with my own ability, so that's why..."
Kana obviously agreed with her brother.
"I seriously am no good with these games, if I just use magic then I didn't succeed at all..."
Both siblings had their heads bent down.
"Oh hoho! I see~ you should both know, it will be difficult~"
Sullivan – sama held both their hands and they glowed.
"I merely strengthened your hands! It'l be fair with just this right?"
"Thank you grandpa!" The two were gratefull.
Then the demon grandpa squealed.
"Wh-What's wrong, grandpa?" Iruma was shocked.
"Eh, is something wrong?" Kana also wanted to know.
Sullivan – sama seemed touch, "i'll keep this memory in my heart forever!"
"Memory?!"
"I'll go now! Concerning your special training, there is one person who gives better advice than me!"
