"Grandpa!" Kana caught sight of Sullivan on the grounds after a while, in the middle of all the commotion.
"Hello, dear Kana – chan!"
Sullivan hugged his granddaughter tightly.
"Where were you?" Kana mumbled, still under Sullivan's arms.
Sullivan let go and patted Kana's shoulders.
"Well, I was withheld for a while." He explained simply.
Although Kana already knew he was being investigated, she feigned ignorance.
"Iruma – nee went missing after the barriers came up." Kana explained.
Sullivan nodded.
"Sullivan – sama, we have found the cullprit. Amy Kiriyo." Kallego appeared.
"I see, take me to him." Sullivan turned around.
Kana pulled on his coat.
"Grandpa, can I go with you?"
Sullivan and Kallego stared at her.
"It would be dangerous for you to be there." Sullivan said.
Kana tapped on her earrings and the black cat appeared.
She bent down and carried it, the cat just stared at her in frustration.
"I'll have Eris with me."
At first, Kallego thought this girl was delirious and saw the cat as a comfort animal.
Until he realized this was the same cat that appeared from the earrings during the first ranking ceremony and the one she used as a familiar.
"Alright, but you should stay very far away." Sullivan replied.
Kallego was speechless.
"Principal, she's not going to be sa-"
Sullivan stared at Kana, as if expecting her to prove Kallego wrong.
'Eris, make your eyes glow a bit.' Kana told the cat telepathically.
The cat's eyes glowed red for a second or two.
Kallego grumbled.
"A petty trick."
Kana smiled at the professor and took his hand.
He flinched.
But Kana pulled him forwards.
"Okay then sensei~ lead us to Amy Kiriyo."
They were lead to the room where Kiriyo stored his explosives.
The doors cricked open.
"Principal."
The teachers gave their greetings.
"Sullivan – sama, why is she here?" The Succubus – sensei asked, pointing to Kana.
The other teachers also wanted to know.
Kiriyo opened his eyes to see the girl.
He was shocked, yet he didn't show it.
Sullivan made his way in front of Kiriyo, gaining his attention.
'Eris, will I be in danger?' Kana asked the cat in her arms.
The cat purred.
'No. Trust me.' It answered.
'Can you make me look dangerous, make my eyes glow too or something.' Kana thought.
