Getting a confession from a modern kid who hasn't suffered much surprisingly took a while.

At first, he resisted and tried to attract attention by making noises and screaming loudly. Later, when he realized that no one was in his side, he tried to make eye contact with others while leading his case. However, everyone avoided looking at Kang Joon directly because of Raon's warning. No one dared to challenge him for the sake of a suspect.

When all things failed, he turned to glare at Raon and tried to accuse him in the name of justice.

"How could you do this?! The rabbits were finally going to gain full independence. They were going to thrive but you blocked it. No, you keep blocking the rabbits' fortune! You scrounge!"

Rowan was now ready to pull out a certain tongue but Raon didn't let him. There were things he needed to know.

"You know, you keep talking about freedom and fortune, as though the rabbits have been suffering. Heh.

Do you know the rabbits' biggest advantage? It's that they are the only herbivore tribe near the Veritable Tribe. Herbivore tribes have always been good at growing plants and finding different types of plant lives. Instead of using that to trade with the nearby carnivorous tribe, they decided to stop trade altogether."

Herbivores and Carnivores, that's just a way for beastmen to identity their animal forms. In their human forms, they were all omnivores and they all know how essential herbs are for medicine. Each type have their own advantageous traits, yet these rabbits only seek to complain.

He added, "When that happened, did the wolves come to threaten you? Did they pressure you to pay up for protection?

Each to themselves. You guys stopped trade, became isolated, and became overly reliant on the black rabbit. That's no one's fault but your own. Even if this rebellion had succeeded, nothing would have changed. Just, instead of trading with others, you would be under the rule of others."

Raon couldn't help but feel like he had said too much. However, he felt the need to make some things clear, not for the little shou, rather for the other tribes to hear.

While he was making his own stance regarding the matter, the Hundred Yen tribe leader, Raon's father, was also brought over. He had heard nearly everything and couldn't help feel a little ashamed, which he quickly suppressed within himself.

Raon had already questioned and dismantled the plot beyond recognition but still felt the need to dismantling it even more beyond repair. There were still some things that needed to be made clear. This was the perfect time to end it all.

However, before he could completely expose these hypocrites and demand answers to some of his doubts, his father quickly knelt on spot and humbly begged for leniency.

"Raon, please! For your old father's sake, please spare us, him. I know he's been selfish and self righteous, however he's still a rabbit and part of our tribe, your tribe. Please don't forsake us."

Only he himself knew how much he wanted to get rid of Kang Joon. However, he couldn't because Kang Joon was likely the Son of God. For the prosperity of his tribe, he couldn't back off and had to bow to his cheap son. No matter what, he had to first take him away.

Rowan frowned slightly, a bit confused at this conversation. Not to mention that his mate's father smelled strongly of tea (scheming/fake innocence) at the moment, his pleading itself didn't make any sense.

He corrected the kneeling man, "A rabbit? You mean the Hyena of the Hundred Yen Tribe, right?"

Before the tension and the unease could set in, this one comment made all heads turn to the leader of the Veritable Tribe. Especially, Roan's father. He had a look of complete disbelief.
