When the group reached the annual festival, compared to the other tribes, who looked tired, they had a glow on their face and seemed to have gained weight.
During the journey, on one of their campsites, a tribesman brought back wood for the fire, and when the fire burned, the ashes were white instead of grey. Roan was immediately very interested. He gathered the ashes and delayed the trip by a few days to make soap, which immediately revitalized everyone's spirit and hygiene. He also taught others how to use aloe vera as a face mask, the result being the glow on their faces.
He also made oil from animal fat and taught them how to make different dishes, not just meat. Now they had potatoes, and Roan swore that he was going to find more food and feed his tribe more delicious food.
While the Veritable Tribe had a great time, the Hundred-Yen Tribe was not so lucky. They had very few warriors, with the Black Rabbit being the strongest among them. Although they had a bear with them, the bear was pretty much a mascot. When it turned into its animal form, the huge form of the predator kept most wild animals at bay, but the bear wouldn't move when it came to hunting. Kang Joon thought that it was perfect. With both the bear and the black rabbit, he would have the perfect shield and sword. He just needed to be protected.
While Kang Joon was daydreaming, a fearless wild beast, a rabbit, slipped past the fighting and the bear barrier and approached Kang Joon with a pair of innocent eyes.
Kang Joon, who spotted the rabbit immediately, felt his heart hit with the cuteness and couldn't help but gush over the rabbit. He approached the rabbit, intending to cuddle it for now, then offer it as dinner to the hunters.
But the moment his hand almost reached the rabbit, the 'innocent' rabbit opened his mouth full of sharp teeth and attempted to aggressively bite Kang Joon's hands off. Unfortunately, he was able to retrieve his hand and screamed in horror. One of the hunters noticed the rabbit, and before the rabbit could make its next move, the hunter decisively struck a spear through the rabbit.
But the incident left a shadow on Kang Joon. Never having actually been confronted with danger up close, he was left trembling with snot and tears all over his face, still screaming with a very suspicious yellow liquid dripping under him onto the grass.
And for the first time, the black rabbit saw his 'beloved' true love without rose-tinted glasses, maybe because the color change doesn't change ugly to pretty. I don't know.
The rest of the journey was a similar hell with Kang Joon having to face danger multiple times because of a lack of harem members, not that Roan was willing to lead one.
Oh, but he gained a harem member in the journey, the white rabbit hunter savior.
...
Roan was busy with his own tribe and did not care about his former tribe. He just helped his tribe set up their booth.
After setting up the booth, they really felt that they were unlucky because they heard a middle-aged man call out, "Leo?".
Yes, it was the head of the tribe from which Leo and Hua came. The "nothing good" tribe, according to Hua. And it was Leo's father.
Leo called out in respect, "Head."
It couldn't be helped that he didn't call out Father or Dad. As a tribe that believes deeply in bloodlines, Leo was expected to be the next head even before he was born. Thus, he was trained to call his father 'Head' instead of Father. Rather than a father-son relationship, it was more of a disciple relationship.
But the Head frowned, thinking that Leo was embarrassing him by calling out that title instead.
This time, Rowan came forward, blocking Leo instead, followed by his wife. Both kept the two newcomers behind them as they confronted this 'head'.
