RECAP

“Bye Jesse,” I called.

I went inside. Josh followed me.

“My sister’s got a boyfriend, my sister’s got a boyfriend,” Josh chanted.

I blushed, “He’s not my boyfriend.”

“My sister has a really close guy friend, my sister has a really close guy friend,” he started chanting.

“Oh, shut up,” I told him.

“Fine, go wash your hands, dinner’s ready.”

Brittany’s P.O.V.

I woke up the next day.

Thoughts were literally flying in and out of my head.

Sunday!!!

Bacon!!!!!

Jesse!!!!!

Ugh, tomorrow’s school.

Birds!!!

Purple.

When will I see Jesse again???

Church is in an hour.

Happy day!!!!

I want a cookie.

I feel like running.

I finally got out of bed, and the smell of bacon lured me downstairs.

“Good morning my dear brother,” I said cheerfully.

“Someone must be in a really good mood,” my brother said while putting more cooked bacon on a plate.

Did I mention my brother can cook? He’s like the best cook ever. Well, his food is the only food I’ve tasted besides when we go out to eat, but still, it’s really good. My mom can’t cook, so whenever my brother isn’t home, I just heat up something in the microwave.

I took some bacon, sat on the island, and started eating it.

“I am in a good mood,” I said while stealing more bacon.

“Hey, save some bacon for me,” Josh said.

“I’ll think about it.”

I grabbed the plate of bacon, and started running into the dining room. I hid under the dining room table shoveling more bacon into my mouth. Yummy… this is truly delicious. Soon my brother came in.

“Oh little bacon girl,” he called, “bacon girl come here.”

I shoveled more bacon into my mouth, trying to eat it as quietly as possible.

“Boo!” Josh yelled as he ducked his head under the table.

I screamed and ran back into the kitchen hiding on one side of the island. How did he know I was under there? I started chewing on more bacon. There is still a bunch left. Maybe I could give him some? Nah, he’ll have to come get it himself. Where is he anyway? I stood up to see where he was. He was on the other side of the island. Oops! He ran over to me, but I ran to the other side too. Soon we were circling the island, and I had eaten half the bacon. I decided I was full, and gave up.
