The trip to the beach took approximately two hours, I think. I lost track of time hours after we took off. I guess I really don’t have to tell you the reason why, because it seems to be pretty obvious. He is sitting right next to me, driving his own car. While I’m sitting on the passenger seat, a little boy lying in my arms and my dog at the back. If the people here are actually dumb—which I think they are—then they will think that we are one big happy family enjoying the remaining weeks of summer. And that is exactly what people thought of us.

Yes, it seems crazy but that was what the people thought when they saw us. We really don’t plan on going down, but after countless time of singing songs off tune with Julius and sometimes when Keith knows the song he’ll join us too, the little boy insisted that he needs to pee and that he’s hungry. We told him that we can’t just stop anywhere because no one is informed about this and that we’re all convoying each other. That’s when Keith starts to cry.

“But I’m hungry!!!! I wanna pee!!!” He wailed. If you honestly think that kids are cute and gully, well wait ‘til you hear them cry and then tell me if they look cute anymore. I honestly think it’s the most horrible sight ever!

“Keith, stop crying… we’ll tell your mom that we’ll stop by at a store,” I told him, soothing him while he cries continuously on my shoulder.

“We won’t,” Julius said sternly, he didn’t even take his eyes off the road. I know that he’s kind of pissed off, but he can’t do anything than do what his brother asks him to or else he won’t stop.

“We will,” I glared, emphasizing the last word. At that he turned his head slightly to look at me.

“We can’t just stop without informing them!” Julius exclaimed.

“That’s why I said we’ll call them,” I pointed out. “Look, Keith won’t stop crying and the only thing we can do right now is let the kid do what he wants to do. Besides the others are probably hungry too. And maybe the nature’s calling their name too.”

“I wanna go pee-pee…” Keith sobbed and I shushed him, telling him that I’m working on it. But the boy doesn’t understand anything! He continues to cry like there’s no tomorrow and I am starting to get pissed myself.

I looked back to Julius right on time and saw him looking at me, he looked away immediately. He’s probably debating whether to stop or not to stop. The nearest store we’ll be stopping by is a few minutes’ drive away from us right now, so I have to move fast.

“Julius, just stop by somewhere for heaven’s sake! He’s crying like there’s no tomorrow!” I burst out all of a sudden. It was the wrong thing to do, I was sure of that. Because after my sudden outburst, a smirk appeared on his lips and he hit the gas and drove twice as fast as he was driving before.

“Holy…” I gasped; shocked at the sudden speed we are right now. “Julius, stop the car!” I yelled.

“No!” he yelled back stubbornly and opened the radio, busting LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It. He started singing. I saw the store I was expecting for us to stop by and I think Keith saw it too as he started crying again.
