Let’s go…

Crazy, crazy, crazy ‘til we see the sun

I know we only met but let’s pretend its love

And never, never, never stop for anyone

Tonight let’s get some… and live while were young…”

One Direction’s ‘Live While Were Young’ blasted through my alarm clock speaker; I groaned. In normal circumstances, I would’ve been delighted to hear my boyfriends’ voices first thing in the morning. But unfortunately, this morning is very different from the others. Aside from the fact that I woke up four hours early than the normal time I wake up during summer when I feel like walking up early, today is actually the start of school. Today is the official start of my junior year.

I have no idea what awaits me this year. But one thing’s for sure, I already have the idea of what will I be waiting for the rest of the school year—summer.

I groaned once more and extended my hand to reach the stupid alarm clock. I have no idea why people invent such cruel things. I mean, if we actually want to have a peaceful sleep, then why would we make something that will just ruin it? I know that I’m not making much sense at the moment, but that tends to happen when you’re in the state of still accepting the fact that its morning already but your still sleepy.

I rolled out of bed and went straight to my bathroom, stripped my clothes and hopped in the shower. I don’t like cold water in the morning; actually, I don’t like cold water at all. Except for summer when it’s really hot as hell. But at times like this, I prefer using warm water for bath. And the heater helps a lot with that.

A good fifteen minutes later I was done with everything and slipped in my robe. I walked out of the bathroom and into the other door, my mini walk-in closet. Our school’s kinda private, but it was one good thing that they don’t require wearing uniforms. One thing that I hate about life is having to look exactly the same as others.

I grabbed a random pair of jeans and pulled it on, and then I chose a white tee that says ‘School’s Bull’ and a black leather jacket. I walked out of the closet and into the room full of shoes and debated whether to use my DC black and white shoes or the white Supras. After God-knows-how-long (it only took two minutes, though), I chose the Supra and slid it on. I already packed my things last night, so I just had to grab the bag from my desk chair, slid my phone into the jacket’s pocket and went down the stairs.

“Good morning, Saab!” My mother’s warm smile greeted me the moment I set foot on the dining room.

“Morning, Mom,” I greeted back, sliding in my chair for breakfast. Fried bacon and eggs—my favorite.

“Where’s dad?” The old man’s chair is deserted, and I can’t see anything that belongs to him around me, so I had to ask.

“He left early this morning for a meeting. He’ll be home late too,” Mom explained, handling me a glass of OJ. I mumbled quick thanks. And then from the staircase appeared my brother, shirtless and only in his boxers. How rude.

“Morning mom,” he gave her a peck on the cheek. “Morning, charming.”

“Ugh. I told you not to use that name!” He chuckled, then took his seat.
