Have you ever been stuck in a moment where you feel like responding, you think you’re responding but truth being told, you’re just standing there looking like a complete freak because you’re dumbfounded? Not to mention that you’re mouth’s probably wide open and that you’re literally drooling? It’s a very embarrassing thing to happen to someone, but unfortunately it happens to everyone. And at that moment when I opened my door and saw the most handsome, most gorgeous and God’s finest creation did I experienced that kind of embarrassment.

How it all did go to a stop? It wasn’t easy, honestly. Julius probably took a few minutes of waving his hands in front of me for me to snap out of my trance. Thank God it stopped eventually.

“Oh, uhh… what was that again?” I managed to choke out as the redness on my cheeks heated up more.

“Hey, I know you!” He exclaimed instead of repeating what he said earlier.

“You do?” I asked him.

“Yeah! Isabella Parker? But they call you Saab in school. That’s you right?” he asked and I nod quickly. “Don’t you know me? We’re like, school mates since Kindergarten!”

As if I don’t know that. I’ve loved you since then, idiot. But of course, I didn’t tell him that. Instead I resisted my urge to roll my eyes and answered, “Yeah, Julius Grey.” He nodded and smiled at me. I smiled back.

“I didn’t know we’re moving next door to you guys! I was actually scared that maybe I won’t be friends with anyone here,” he admitted.

“You, not being friends with anyone anywhere? That’s probably a sick joke!” I mumbled.

“What? Sorry, I didn’t catch that,” he said.

“Oh nothing, don’t mind me,” I blushed. Wow, stupid me huh?

“So… uhh….” I trailed off. “What was that you said earlier again?” I asked.

He smiled politely. “I was asking you if it’s possible to get the soccer ball my brothers are playing with. They kind of kicked it too hard and it landed on your backyard.”

“Oh. Uhh… yeah, sure.” I nodded.

He stood there for a while, and I did too. But I feel like something should be done here, I just don’t know what. I feel distracted. I mean, the only guy that stole your heart is standing right in front of you and good Lord did he look good at that moment! His piercing green eyes boring into mine, and that cute smile his lips formed… good gracious I could die right now!

“Uhh, so, do you mind if uh…” he started, snapping me out of my trance again. “You know, letting me in?” he finished, his hand finding his head and running it through her gorgeous brown hair. It looks cute on him, like he just got out of bed or something.

“Oh,” so that’s what I forget! I forgot to open the door for him to get in. “Uhh, yeah… sorry about that.” I left out a nervous giggle as I widen the door and gestured for him to get in.
