A/N : Based on the vibe I get from the game, not the lore or anything from the show.
Tagbot ran around the corner, careful to be quiet as the officer ran past with his dog, still thinking he was chasing after the graffiti artist.
Once he was sure the guy was long gone, he ran down the familiar route of the alleyways until he eventually found the small hideout where him and the other Subway Surfers lived. They'd all found themselves living there for one reason or another, and they got new friends all the time. Currently, it was only occupied by himself, Lucy, Jake, Tricky, and Ninja, though it was only a matter of time before more people joined them.
"Hey, Tag!" Jake said with a smile. He was laying atop an old, abandoned van, throwing a small bouncy ball against the wall of bricks that marked the apartment building they were living behind. That van was the centerpiece of their makeshift home, as no one had ever come back for it. It provided shelter when the weather was bad, and was good for storage regardless.
"Greetings" Tagbot replied in the same auto-generated voice always emanated from him. Jake chuckled. Despite his appearance (sunglasses, a black baseball cap, and a black hoodie pulled over it didn't really give the idea that he would be approachable), he was actually a really nice guy, and Tagbot was glad to be his friend. "No cops followed you, right?"
"I lost them" Tagbot assured him. Jake nodded and the conversation ended. It was then that Tagbot noticed that the place seemed emptier than usual. He scanned around to figure out who was missing and an alarm began going off once it registered. "Where is Tricky?"
"Tagging a building" Lucy replied. She was re-organizing their crate of spray cans, as she did pretty regularly. Her goth-like appearance gave the idea that she was apathetic, but the truth was that she was actually a bit of a neat-freak, and so she consistently made sure their paints were organized by color. "I give it five minutes before she gets caught"
"Previous records suggest it would be closer to seven minutes" Tagbot corrected. As annoying as his corrections could occasionally be, Lucy couldn't help but laugh. Even Ninja smiled a bit (his mask covered his mouth but the crinkle of his eyes still gave expression), though he was still silent as ever.
"You're a riot, Bot-Boy" Lucy replied. Tagbot smiled at the nickname. He knew he probably should've found it insulting, but Lucy was his friend so he liked it. "Did you tag anything good before the inspector found you?"
"I only got through three letters of our signature" Tagbot admitted. Jake laughed at that, picturing in his head the word "Sub" sprayed across the side of an old train car. Lucy smiled at the robot and tossed him another can of paint.
"Well, sounds like the inspector's gonna be busy chasing Tricky for a bit" she said. Tagbot nodded. "Might as well go finish it, Bot-Boy"
"Yes, ma'am"
