A/N : FTM!Finney and Dyscalculic!Robin

Finn always looked up to Robin- Really respected him, you know? Maybe it was because he was the only person other than his sister who seemed to want to hang out with him, maybe it was because the guy had stuck up for him when he first realized he was a guy and scared all the bullies into calling him Finney, maybe it was just because Robin looked really good and the bullies weren't entirely wrong when they called him a fag.

He supposed it was most likely a combination of all those reasons.

"Hey, you wanna come over to my place after school?" Robin randomly asked him one day. Finn could hardly conceal the big grin that came to his face at this- The two were friends and hung out pretty regularly, but this was the first time he was being invited to the other kid's house.

"Yeah, sure" Finn agreed with a small nod. Robin smirked at him- He always seemed so amused with Finn's existence, but not in a mean or patronizing way. More in the sense that he just found the guy interesting. Finn couldn't blame him for that. Not because he found himself particularly interesting, but it wasn't common for one Taylor Blake to declare that she was, in fact, a he. "Wanna work together on math homework?"

"Fuck yeah" Robin replied with a small chuckle. "I don't want it to seem like I'm just using you for your brain, but none of these teachers explain the concepts like you do" he explained. Finn didn't ever think that of the other man- He understood that Robin had problems in math (the Latino had once described it as the numbers floating around, all out of order. His parents said it was some sort of disorder, but Finn didn't think the specifics really mattered), and he just liked spending time with the other boy regardless.

"I don't think that" Finn assured him. Robin smiled once again. Something gleamed in his eyes for a second, as he seemed to consider something. His eyes briefly flickered down Finn's face, but before either of them could make a move, he cleared his throat and turned his gaze away.

"I'll see you after school, Finney" Robin said with a small wave as he walked away. A few people in the hallway snickered as a huge smile graced the other boy's features. Robin was already out of earshot at that point, but Finn still muttered to himself before walking to class.

"I look forward to it"
