Chaeyoung and Seungkwan have known each other since fromis_9 moved to Pledis in August. She developed feelings for him right from the moment she met him. Chaeyoung doesn't think Seungkwan feels the same way. She doesn't think Seungkwan has feelings for her. She thinks he likes another girl but doesn't know who. Maybe a dancer. She knows it's not one of her members. Chaeyoung likes to think in her mind he does like her back but maybe she doesn't know him well enough yet. She is trying to hide her feelings for Seungkwan but sometimes it's not always easy. Chaeyoung can't help but have feelings for Seungkwan. She thinks he is a very cute and loveable guy

Fromis_9 and Chaeyoung are at the studio rehearsing today and working on some new choreography for upcoming comeback and tour etc. They can't wait for those kind of things. Seventeen are rehearsing in the same studio as they are Pledis but they are upstairs in another room. Chaeyoung might see Seungkwan. Although he is not always that warm to her. The girls have a break now all Chaeyoung along with Saerom and Seoyeon go outside for some fresh air. "Ahhhh it's nice to breathe again" Saerom said. "Yep it is" Seoyeon replies. "Just a few minutes of fresh air does you good" Saerom said. Chaeyoung agreed too. After a few minutes the girls go back inside. Seungkwan and Dino were downstairs in the building. "Seungkwan, hi" Chaeyoung said. He walked past her and practically ignored her for a second. "Oh hey" Seungkwan says like he didn't even know her. Chaeyoung walked back to the rehearsal room. She seemed a bit off the rest of the day and the girls could pick up on that. She felt hurt that her crush was so hostile and unfriendly to her. "Chaeng, what's up? You don't seem yourself, girl" Jiwon said. "No I'm fine, Unnie. Just working hard" Chaeyoung replies. "Chaeng, you know you can tell us if there is anything on your mind" Jisun said. "Yeah and I appreciate that but I'm fine. Honest" she said. "You seem off this afternoon" Gyuri said. "I'm good" Chaeyoung laughs. "Well smile then like me" Hayoung said pulling Chaeyoung in for a hug. She cheers up a bit later. She was upset that Seungkwan ignored her when she likes him so much

Later that day and Chaeyoung is getting ready to go to bed after a long day. Maybe she shouldn't the Seungkwan thing get you her too much. Maybe it's not meant to be. Chaeyoung is in the bathroom brushing her teeth with Seoyeon next to her. "Chae, who's on your mind? I can tell you're in deep thought" she said. "No no one" she replies. "I think you're hung up on someone huh" Seoyeon said. "No not really. I like someone but I don't known if he likes me back. He kinda ignored me today" she said. "Ohhhhh is it someone in Pledis? Seventeen?" she asks. "Yes" Chaeyoung replies. "Ohhhh tell me who" Seoyeon said. "Do I have to? I don't even want to think about him right now" she says. "Tell me I want to know" she said. "Fine. It's Seungkwan. I really like him. I have feelings for him but I don't think he feels the same back" Chaeyoung said. "Ohhhhh I kinda knew it. Boo Seungkwan. How do you know he might not like you back?" Seoyeon asks. "Because I can tell he's not really interested in me in that way" Chaeyoung said. "Tell you never know. Sometimes guys can weirdly hide their feelings. Men are not good at expressing their feelings and emotions especially when it comes to women" Seoyeon said. "Yeah I guess so" Chae said. "Well don't worry about if he likes you or not. Maybe he does but a funny way of showing it, Chaeng" she said. Chaeyoung smiled a bit at Seoyeon. Both of them went to bed after. Chaeyoung's feelings for Seungkwan won't go away anytime soon

Chaeyoung is at the studio again with the girls for another day of rehearsals. It's the end of the week and she hopes not to run into Seungkwan after last time. Chaeyoung has tried not to think about him much since last time. She still has feelings for him though. The girls had a break and Chaeyoung needed the bathroom so she had to go as she'd be drinking water. She goes to the bathroom and finishes soon after. On her way out, she sees Seungkwan outside the door. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't really get past him. Seungkwan looked at Chaeyoung as she was trying to sneak past him. "Seungkwan" she smiled. "Chaeyoung, hi" he said. "Sorry I gotta get back. The girls are waiting for me" she said. "That's alright. Look. I'm sorry for ignoring you that said hi to me" Seungkwan said. "It's okay I guess" Chaeyoung replies. "Okay we will get back now" he said. "Seungkwan, maybe we should hangout sometime?" she asked. "Sure but I got you know..." he hesitate. "Okay we will see. Just an idea" she said. They walked away without saying bye to each other and go back to their members in the studio. Seungkwan hesitated to answer Chaeyoung's suggestion of hanging out. She thinks he's got his eye on someone else. Someone better than Chae but he couldn't get any better that Chae who is a pretty, talented and really sweet girl. Seungkwan doesn't know what he's missing out on. He should give her a chance and not break her heart. Chaeyoung felt a bit awkward in front of Seungkwan today

Chaeyoung and Seungkwan have been hanging out more a bit lately and getting on better. They have been bonding. Seungkwan isn't sure if he has feels about Chaeyoung because he is actually seeing another girl at the moment. She is a Pledis dancer. Chae was right about her. She didn't like to believe that Seungkwan had feelings for another girl who isn't her. Chae still hurts on the inside sometimes but she doesn't want to hurt forever. She is meeting Seungkwan after practice tonight and they are going out to eat. Not a date but just as friends for dinner. Chaeyoung is leaving practice soon. So is Seungkwan. They are in the same building today. Chaeyoung had finished before Seungkwan so she heads to her locker. He said he'll wait for her outside as they are finished at a similar time. Chaeyoung goes outside and Seungkwan was nowhere to be seen. She called his phone but no answer of course. She then decided to walk round and then go round the corner. She sees Seungkwan with that girl. He was kissing her. All over her. "Kwan" she said running away. "Chae, sorry. I was going to call you back" he said. "I knew you liked someone else not me" Chaeyoung said. The girl just stood there and didn't say anything. "Chae, I can explain. I'm sorry" Seungkwan said. "You don't need to. I always knew you liked her and not me. Fine I don't care. You have a girlfriend anyway" Chaeyoung said. "Chaeyoung, I didn't mean for you to find out in that way but me and you can still be friends. Right?" he said. "I don't know. Don't think I want to be friends with someone who doesn't like me and uses me" she said. "Come on, Chae. I didn't use you. I enjoyed our friendship" Seungkwan said. "Friendship? I'm in love with you, Seungkwan but not anymore I guess" she replies. "Chae, I don't want our friendship to end like this. I enjoyed hanging out with you" he said. "Well maybe you shouldn't thought about that before you had your hands over her. You knew I had feelings for you that I couldn't hide" Chaeyoung said. Seungkwan looked at her and walked away with his girlfriend. Chaeyoung was so heartbroken deep inside. She knew all along that he liked another girl and not her and only liked her as a friend. She has to get on with her career and life and not think about him all the time. She'll move on and find someone who really loves her

It's now a month later and Chaeyoung has got over Seungkwan reasonably fast. The first few days she was obviously upset finding him kissing another girl but she decided not to think about it too much and kinda move on. It's been one whole month now. Seungkwan still regrets her finding out that way and wants to apologise and make things right with her. He tried to apologise to her but Chaeyoung walked away as she didn't want to listen to him. She doesn't want to listen to him anymore. Seungkwan is not seeing the dancer he was kissing anymore. He is friends with her but not dating her anymore. Maybe he realises he likes Chaeyoung and he broke her heart so much. Seungkwan decided not to approach her at the awkward as he doesn't want to make things awkward and tense in front of people so he's going to show up at the fromis_9 house and speak up Chaeyoung in private. It's 10pm at night and the girls are setting down for bed. Seungkwan should be too. He knocks on the door and Nagyung was in in the kitchen getting a glass of water. "Hey. Is Chaeyoung up?" Seungkwan said. "I don't know, Seungkwan. I'll check. Why do you want her?" she asks. He nods his head. Chaeyoung comes to the door a few minutes later. "Huh what are you doing here? Nagyung said you want to see me" she said. "Yes that's right" he smiles. "But Seungkwan its 10pm. My bedtime and surely yours" Chaeyoung said. "I know but Chae please listen up. I know this was last month and you're probably over me by now but again I'm sorry for what happened. The way you had to find out that I liked someone else not you" Seungkwan said. "Well I've forgotten about it now. I'm moved on. I'm over" Chaeyoung replies. "Over me?" he asks. "Yes kind of" she said. "Well I think we should be friends again but just friends for now" he said. "Okay if you want" she replies. "Yes I do. If you trust me. I promise I'll never look at another girl like that again. Chaeng, I know realise that you're a really sweet and beautiful girl" Seungkwan said. "Hmmmm are you trying to say I wasn't sweet and beautiful before" she chuckles. "No not really. Give me a chance. Friends?" he said. "Okay friends" Chaeyoung smiles. Seungkwan looks at her and pulls her in for a hug. The hug was a bit awkward at first but then hugged and made up and gave their friendship another chance. Seungkwan realised that he wasn't very nice to her this whole time. He wants to give her a chance to show her then he likes her and maybe they could end up together in the future

A/ N: a bit of an angsty Chae imagine but hoped you liked it. I ship Chae with Seungkwan most out of SVT members. A nice couple they would be. I'll make a pt2 of this in the future to see what happens.

Next is Hayoung with ATEEZ member
