Mitsuki shoved the boys in her car and sped to the hospital where Sensei Aizawa was waiting for him. The car ride was mostly quiet, except for Katsuki's constant moaning. He was laying on his side because his back was covered in glass shards. His breathing was sharp and shallow, and his lungs still had a tiny bit of water in them causing him to cough and violently shake. Every cough and jerk made Mitsuki bite her lip and grab the steering wheel harder, she hated seeing her son hurt and not being able to walk it off. He was strong, but not that strong and for some reason, he couldn't get that idea out of his head. He always thought that he was invincible and did crazy, stupid stunts to prove it. Why couldn't this one time he be okay for once? Tears rolled down Mitsuki's face as the hospital came into view, almost there.
"How is he Kirishima?" she asked, adjusting her mirror to see in the back
"I, I think he's asleep." Kiri said brushing Bakugo's hair back to watch and listen to his breathing.
Mitsuki's breaks squealed as she made a hard left turn into the hospital's emergency room causing Kirishima and Kaminari to fling forward, pushing Bakugo up against the seat and pushing the glass farther in. Bakugo yelped and muttered obscenities.
"Language" Mitsuki said out of habit
"Shut it you old hag," Katsuki said weakly, "once you're dying in the backseat, then can you tell me to watch my language." His face was a bloody mess, but he still managed to smile and be sarcastic.
Mitsuki rolled her eyes and hung her son's arm over her shoulder, helping him walk inside. Every step he took was another painful sharp breath for him, Kirishima and Kaminari managed to pull off some of the glass out of his back, but there were larger pieces stuck deeper in his back. His shirt was torn, matted, and covered in blood.
"Nurse," Mitsuki yelled, waving down the unresponsive reception, "I need a nurse." The middle-aged, blonde haired receptionist slowly looked up and mouthed the words 'holy shi‐' before yelling down the hall to some nurses talking in the hallway, two nurses took Katsuki from Mitsuki as one fetched a stretcher and a doctor.
"Wait, mom," Katsuki said trying to break free from the nurse's grasp, "mom, MOM, don't," he got one arm free but then Sensei Azawai's tape tied his hands together, forcing him to stop struggling, "don't leave me. Please."
"I'll be out here waiting for you" Mitsuki yelled as she watched her son being rushed away on a stretcher into the backrooms.
