Mitsuki walked inside and stood in the middle of the room, looking around.

"Katsuki," she said, turning around to face him, he looked tired, "can we talk like grown ups," Mitsuki said sitting down on his bed placing her head in her hands, "we're both tired, so let's not yell."

Bakugo fell into place next to her and just stared at the floor, neither of them knew what to say. He didn't want to talk about it, because it had everything to do with his feelings.

"I just," Mitsuki said standing up to face him, "i don't understand what happened," she began to pace back and forth talking to herself instead of Katsuki, "Inko said Izuku said that you left, without a scratch, but then you crash land into the lake over two hours later, half dead and covered in glass," Mitsuki paused and took a breath, "so what exactly happened in those two hours."

Bakugo stared at the floor, bouncing his leg. This was the last thing he wanted to talk about, even though Icy Hot, Uraraka, and him hadn't really gotten along that well, he still thought of them as friends, and it hurt him more than he would like to admit when they fought.

"You," he said looking up to met her gaze, he felt the way she looked, like a cornered animal with no escape, "you care more about the how, than the why?"

"Listen," Mitsuki said, kneeling down in front of him, "I know you and Izuku are prone to this kind of thing and I know you always come out less hurt than him, so i want to know why he saw you walk away perfectly fine, but then i find you two hours later half dead."

"I," Bakugo's heart began to race and his breath quickened, he didn't want to cry, not in front of his mother, but he didn't have a choice, the second he opened his mouth everything he had been holding in came out and he fell into her arms, crying, "I-i-i, deserved, e-e-everything," He felt like a little kid again, sitting in his mothers arms as he buried his head in her shoulder, holding onto her back for dear life, as he uncontrollably sobbed again. "Everything they did to me, I deserve. I've been nothing but a jerk to them, heck I basically killed Deku."

Mitsuki sat hugging her son, a little startled by his sudden outburst. She didn't expect him to start crying when she asked what happened, usually when she asks, he just yells at her to 'back off and leave him alone' and then storms off, but even the strongest people have their breaking points.

"Katsuki," Mitsuki said, pulling away to look him in the face, "your a good kid. Just because you messed up doesn't mean you deserve all this," she said looking him up and down, "and before you say anything, you didn't almost kill Izuku, he did that himself."

"Are you sure?" Bakugo said softly, wiping the tears off his face.

"I'm sure," Mitsuki said with a smile, "are you good to stay home by yourself, or do you need me to call out of work?"

"I'm good to stay home." Bakugo said rubbing his on his pants

"Okay," she said, kissing the top of his head, "at 5, you need to take the medication the doctor gave you."

"Okay," Katsuki got up with his mom and gave her one last hug knowing this would most likely be the last time he'll see her, "i love you, you crazy old hag."
