TW: possible mentions of suicide
*the next day*
"You're good to take your son home," Helen said, taking the IV's and heart monitors off of Bakugo," we'll send painkillers over to your nearest pharmacy."
Bakugo sat staring at the floor, he didn't want to go home. He didn't want to go back to school, he panicked just thinking about it. He couldn’t face his class, not after everything that happened. He couldn't face Deku again, not after almost killing him, and as much as he liked Kirishima, he couldn’t face him either. Kirishima would want to know why Deku and hum fought, he'd ask about how he's doing, and then Bakugo would have to lie. He has about had it with lying to people.
"Come on Katsuki, i have to get to work soon." Mitsuki helped Bakugo off the bed and out the door, arm linked with his. Bakugo’s back was progressively getting worse, and it hurt to walk.
Bakugo slowly walked towards the elevator with his mom watching Deku through his window. He got the feeling he should go talk to Deku but the thought made Bakugo start to panic. The ding of the elevator pulled his gaze from Deku to his mom, who was motioning for him to come in.
"I have to go take care of something, i'll meet you at the car." He said quietly, while shoving his hands in his pocket and walking off. He stood staring at Deku through the glass window, his hand shaking too much to knock on the door. Despite not being able to do much, Deku seemed to be laughing and having fun.
Bakugo’s thoughts were interrupted by Inko opening the door and smiling. Why would she smile at him, all he's ever done is bully and humiliate her son.
"Are you going to come in?" She said sweetly, motioning him in. Bakugo looked over to see Deku smiling at him, nodding his head in approval. Bakugo hesitantly headed in, heart racing and head pounding. Now was not the time for another anxiety attack, Deku couldn’t know he was weak.
"Kacchan, you're okay!" Deku said, attempting to sit up, "I saw you were in the hospital room across from me"
"Ya, its a lonf story," Bakugo quietly looking at the floor, grabbing the back of his neck, "how, how are you doing?"
"Im doing great, Todoroki and Uraraka have been visiting me. Did you get to see them?" Bakugo looked up in surprise, Deku didn't know about what they did?
"No," he said with a smile and a scoff, "no they didn't." Deku's smile faded and he looked Bakugo in the eyea
"They were supposed. I told them to apologize to you."
"What do you mean?" Bakugo asked sitting down his back really hurt
"Uraraka said that they got into a fight with you."
"That's all they said?" Bakugo phone was buzzing, most likely his mom, but he didn't want to go, "of course that's all they said." Bakugo shook his head, standing up
"What do you mean?" Deku said, wincing while sitting up, he wasn't supposed to put pressure on his arms, but he wanted to look at Bakugo more fully.
"Listen, Deku," Bakugo said softly, staring at the door handle and slowly turning it, "if Icy Hot and your stupod girlfriend hadn't almost killed me, i would've just done it myself." He opend to the door and began to walk out but Deku stopped
"Kacchan, what do you mean?" He was about to cry, again, like he always does
"If your friends hadn't tried to kill, i would've done it myself. And im still going to, there's nothing you can do to stop me," Bakugo looked over his shoulder at Deku, "goodbye Izuku." He said with a smile and shut the door, quickly walking to thw elevator where his mother was waiting, ignoring Deku’s cries.
"I think Midoryia's calling your name." His mother said looking down rhe hall
"No, he's just coughing." Bakugo said coldly before stepping into the elevator.
