Mitsuki sighed, threw her purse on the untouched side of their queen sized bed, and sank to the floor hugging her knees, she was so tired; tired mentally, physically, emotionally, so much had happened over the last couple days and Masaru wasn't supposed to come home until next week. Mitsuki didn't know if she could handle this alone any longer, Inko helped take some of the stress of the fight away, but no one could help take away the stress of her only child's attempted suicide, no one but her husband. Mitsuki reached up and knocked her purse off, causing the contents to scatter all over the floor
"Mother fu--" she whispered grabbing her phone, sitting back down and calling Masaru, putting the phone on speaker.
"Hey hon," he said, "uh, shouldn't you be in bed?"
"Ya," Mitsuki chuckled, "ya I should be, but as luck would have it, another drastic, life altering event happened, and i," she sighed staring into the hallway, "i can't sleep," Mitsuki took a deep breath in and laid down on the floor, "i really need you to come home."
"Wh, what happened? Are, are you alright?"
"Yes, yes im alright, more or less," she said softly, "but..." her voice trailed off and they sat in silence for a little
"Is it Kat?" Masaru said softly, breaking the silence, he sounded slightly annoyed and a little disappointed
"Isn't it always him." Mitsuki said, her voice breaking as she smiled sarcastically and wiped the tear off her face
"What happened this time?" Masaru sounded distant and a little annoyed
"Well he managed to end up in the hospital again.."
"I don't understand, didn't he come home today?"
"Would you let me finish," Mitsuki said getting a little annoyed with his attitude, " he managed to end up in the hospital again after overdosing on painkillers and ibuprofen," Mitsuki sat in silence wondering if Masaru was still there, he hadn't said a word for a while, "are you still there?"
"Ya, im still here," he said softly, "how are you doing? I mean like dealing with all this"
"I'm fine, i guess. Things could definitely be worse," Mitsuki grabbed the phone and walked to the bathroom and turned on the shower, "but i need you to come home." Masaru stayed silent, "Masaru"
"I," he said sighing, "i can't." Mitsuki stared at the phone as if he could actually see her
"Im sorry," she said laughing with annoyance, "did you juat say you can't?"
"I.."
"No," Mitsuki said setting the phone down and walking around, "no, this, this isn't happening. What do you mean you can't?"
"I told you already, if I leave I'll get fired, and.."
"THEN GET FIRED!" she couldn't believe this was happening, was he really choosing work over his only son?, "FIND A NEW JOB, I DON'T CARE," Mitsuki took a breath in and grabbsd then phone, taking it off speaker again, "this is your son we're talking about."
"I, i know." Masaru said softly
"Oh okay, perfect," Mitsuki said sarcastically, "so your juat choosing work over your family. Is that what it is?"
"N...." Mitsuki hung up before he could finish the sentence and angrily set her phone down, just staring at it, breathe heavily, for what seemed like forever before running her hands through her hair and heading to the shower.
A/N:sorry for the major cringe and terrible writing in this part and really throughout the entire story. And i just want to thank anyone who has volunteering stayed through till now
