Dear Harry,
See you at dinner!
Thank you for the chocolates!
DracoDraco frowned at the letter, it looked too plain and not like a letter you send to your future husband so he added a small heart after 'dinner!' and sent it to Harry.
With a loud sigh, he poured a glass of milk for himself and bit into a green apple with contentment.
As he sipped on the milk, he couldn't help but think about Harry Potter.
Draco smiled to himself.
Potter was definitely a good looking man, he was a huge flirt and was passionate about his work. Even if he was extremely wealthy, Draco could see that he was exceedingly kind and had a full heart.
If Draco hadn't been against arranged marriages, he would have probably agreed for the marriage right away.
He finished with breakfast and hung around the library for the next few hours. Winky kept peeking in to make sure he was still there and not halfway across London.
The library was, by far, his favorite place in his entire home. Not everyone was lucky enough to have a library the size of a tennis court.
The place smelled like sandalwood and he basked in the fresh air and sunlight near the window while reading his favorite book. The occasional barking of the neighborhood dog interrupted him but he made no mind, he was entranced in the world of books.
"I need time." Jay frowned and looked down. "It's okay, I'll wait forever for you." He replied and made Jay look up with his hand.
"Cheeseball." Jay laughed and pushed his hand away.
"You love me." He grinned smugly, although it hurt.
"I really do." Jay whispered to himself.
BANG
Draco jumped in his seat, the book dropping onto the table with a soft thud.
"Lucius! I can't believe you're actually agreeing to this!" He heard his mother whisper frantically from the front of the library.
"I am doing this for our family!"
"Draco will be dev-"
"He will be happy with my choice! I know my son, Narcissa."
"And I know him better!"
"Will you keep your voice down?" He said sternly.
"No." She huffed, "And I'm going to tell our son about this because he deserves to know!"
"You can't tell him!"
"Why?"
"Because if we do then he will-"
"Mistress Malfoy, your sister is here to see you." Winky came in with a bow.
Draco cursed under his breath.
What were his parents talking about?
What was his father about to say before he got interrupted?
Curse Winky for ruining everything.
Draco needed to know what was going on.
The day went by quickly with Draco sulking and trying to listen in on conversations between his mother and his psychotic aunt who had been visiting quite frequently recently.
He suspected that whatever was going on with his father was related to his aunt.
Hi father had been acting jumpy and jittery all day. His mother hadn't been speaking unless it was absolutely necessary.
"Where are you going, son?" Lucius asked when Draco came out of his room dressed in his black suit.
"Out."
His aunt narrowed her eyes at him. "Where?"
Draco pressed his lips together. "I have to meet Potter- Harry for dinner."
Narcissa scowled and looked away.
Lucius and Bellatrix smirked, "That's great then. Get going. Don't want to be late." Lucius said.
Draco smiled nervously and tried to catch his mother's eyes, who was staring angrily at her tea.
"Goodbye." Draco said and left with a million thoughts in his head.
