The marriage was postponed due to obvious reasons.

After a few more days at the hospital, Draco and Harry were sent home. Although Draco was upset to be apart from Harry but decided that they both needed time to heal.

When Draco arrived home alongside his mother, Pansy and Blaise were waiting for him in his room. They stood up and wrapped him in a warm group hug.

"We're glad you're okay." Pansy murmured and Draco smiled into her hair. He was glad too.

His mum had fussed over him for a while and then left to meet Remus. Remus had been the one to call the police that day, he had driven to the Manor when contacted but when he reached there, all he saw was Riddle's car and he had ran straight to the police.

Blaise had forgiven Draco after his string of apologies for blaming him for no reason and not telling him about the plan. He hugged his friend and left for work.

Pansy dragged him to the lounge and pushed him on the couch and sat next to him.

"You need a break!" She claimed.

"Yes. But after we talk about you."

"What about me?" Pansy pursed her lips, knowing what he was going to say.

Draco sighed and wrapped an arm around her, "Do you want to talk about Ginny?"

Ginny had been sent to jail that day for association with the mafia the same day with nothing but guilt on her face.

Pansy nodded, her hair curtaining her face.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, voice gentle.

"Yes, please."

"Okay. I'm listening, love. Go on." The girl took a deep breath and nodded.

"When we met in Paris. She was perfect. Charming and sweet and so fucking amazing. She and I just clicked. She understood me like nobody else had before and I loved every moment of it. We slept together and it-" Her voice cracked, "It was perfect. No one has shown this much affection towards me, you know? And it terrified me. That's why I left her there that night.

"When we talked the night of that dinner. She had spoken such beautiful promises to me, Draco. I was mesmerized. She told me she loved me. Love, Draco! Love."

Draco wiped her cheeks with his fingers that were stained with painful tears.

"And everything was perfect. She never made me feel upset or- or mad or any negative emotion. It was perfect! And it was all a fucking lie!" She sobbed and buried her face into Draco's neck. He wanted to cry along with her. For her.

How could someone ever hurt someone as loving and beautiful as Pansy?

Pansy pulled back, sniffling.

"She had slept with me that night in France knowing that I am your best friend to get all the insider information, Draco. And that was the biggest betrayal. It was all a bloody game to her and nothing else. I was nothing but a pawn for her to play to get where she wanted to. I thought what I had with her was special and she ruined it. I hate her and I hate myself for being so vulnerable. Maybe this all wouldn't have happened if she hadn't tricked me into falling in love with her."

"Oh Pansy, no. Nothing is your fault. I repeat, nothing! Okay? It was all Riddle. He was the mastermind of this filthy game and Ginny was his pawn. You don't need to blame yourself, alright?"

Pansy nodded, "I'll work on that." She swiped at her cheeks and rubbed her red eyes.

"Good." Draco said and kissed her forehead.
