The lovely scent of chocolate made Draco wake up with a smile but he kept his eyes closed, he felt so comfortable where he was, snuggled into the warm covers with a rich smell of a cologne that he loved and the warmth of a body next to him.

He could feel a warm breath fanning over his neck, making him shiver. A pair of lips kissed the nape of his neck gently making him turn around with a shy grin. He was held tightly by a pair of strong arms. He opened his eyes halfway to find Harry half-asleep, spooning him. Harry's mouth was stretched in a lazy smile and his forehead was rid of any stress lines.

He looked stunning. Draco moved forward and kissed his nose gently, "Harry?" He whispered.

"Mhmmm," Harry groaned and pulled him closer, burrowing his face in Draco's neck. Draco laughed softly, brushing his hair away and kissing his closed eyelids. Harry's lips stretched into a wider smile and he blinked open his eyes.

"Good morning," He said, voice heavy and scratchy, lips brushing over his sensitive skin.

Draco bit his lip, "It's almost night, Harry. Not morning," He ran a hand through his hair.

After their walk in the garden, they had sat down and watched a movie together. Draco was very tired since he hadn't gotten much sleep last night so he fell asleep and Harry cuddled him close, soon falling asleep as well. No one from the staff bothered to wake the couple up since they looked so peaceful.

Harry looked at him and then kissed him once to shut him up effectively. Draco made a small sound of surprise but kissed him back just as strongly, "You're a great kisser." He said when they pulled apart.

"I'm the only person you've kissed, Draco."

"You're still the best."

Harry snorted and stared at Draco, memorising his every feature.

"Harry?" He asked, "What's this?" He rubbed his forefinger over a small scar on his skin, it was soft under his touch.

Harry held Draco's hand and pushed down his t-shirt further to show a scar, bigger than Draco anticipated, in the shape of a lightning bolt carved into his skin. It was a lighter shade against his skin and looked terrifying.

Draco gasped, "What happened?" He whispered.

Harry smiled wryly, "I guess I haven't been completely honest with you, my love."

Draco furrowed his brows.

Harry cleared his throat and sighed, "I don't like talking about this but we're getting married. You deserve to know my past."

"Right," Draco said slowly, still confused.

"I was in the army for two years," Harry said, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear and kissing the tip of his nose when Draco gasped softly, "Mhm, it was a rough time but I always wanted to join the army. Ever since I was five. I used to beg mum and dad to buy me uniforms so I could show off to my friends." He laughed softly, laughing at the memory.

"So I joined the army soon after I finished college. Two years there changed my life completely and my mum begged me to come back and live a normal life because every time I came back, I had more injuries and wounds. So, for her sake and mine, I stopped. I got this scar just before I stopped."

Draco gently kissed the scar, "You're really brave."

Harry huffed a soft laugh, "Thank you, my love." Draco placed his head on his chest, smiling, listening to his heart beat. A soft, gentle thump which was in tune with his own.

"You won't go away again, right?"

He traced his arm with his fingertips. Harry kissed his hair, "No, I won't go away. I'm taking a course to be a professor. So you're stuck with me."

"I don't mind being stuck with you."

Harry smiled and closed his eyes, rubbing his back with his hand.

"Did you find him?" Harry asked, "Any leads?"

Draco had long left for his home after multiple lingering kisses and goodbyes. His parents had finally come home, tired and worn out with an upset Remus trailing behind them.

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." James shook his head.

Remus slumped onto the sofa and Jerry jumped onto his lap, snuggling close to him to provide him some comfort. Remus smiled weakly and petted his head, scratching behind his ear.

"What now?" Harry frowned, his chest aching.

Lily ran a hand through her hair, "We go to the police. The three of us have looked everywhere we could, now it's the police who can help us to find him."

"I hope he's okay," James whispered, a painful expression on his face. Lily clasped his hand and squeezed it comfortingly, "He'll be okay. It's Sirius, nothing can happen to him."

Harry swallowed, "Yeah, remember when he did that stabbing prank. Got all the blood on our carpet?"

James laughed softly and Remus managed a small smile, "Yeah, Lily didn't talk to him for a week because he ruined the carpet she got on sale."

Lily grinned, "It was expensive! I was right to be mad at him."

"Mhm, sure. He had to buy you a cheaper copy of the rug so you'd stop being mad at him."

Harry laughed.
