"Harry?" Draco mumbled groggily in the dark and Harry's arms tightened around him. A hand came up to caress his cheeks. Draco lifted up his face and blinked at Harry who gave him a forced smile.

"Morning, luv."

"I fell asleep on you." Draco said slowly.

"It's okay. You were crying and then you were snoring the next second."

"Oh." Yesterday's events hit him like a bullet and his bottom lip quivered.

"Sirius," He said in a soft whisper and hid his face in Harry's chest, who closed his eyes and bit his lip, trying to stop himself from crying out loud. He placed a shaky kiss on Draco's head and took a few deep breaths.

"It's not even been a full week and I already miss him," Harry whispered hoarsely.

Draco's heart broke a little more with every second he thought of Sirius.

He was gone. Now there won't be surprise parties for him on his birthdays with multiple gifts. There won't be anyone willing to be Santa Claus and going to orphanages laden with gifts for children. There won't be the same happiness in Remus's eyes anymore. James won't have a best friend to talk to. Lily won't have a friend to look after. Narcissa won't have a favorite cousin to dote over. Harry won't have his godfather to look up to. The light of their family was extinguished.

It was funny how a person leaving forever can impact your life. The only thing they leave is a handful of happy memories and regret in the minds of people who've erred them.

Sirius' absence could never be filled by anybody. All their hearts would ache in sync, mourning for his loss.

Draco felt his eyesight blur and sobs rack through his body.

They cried together.

Draco was appalled by his father. He wanted to slap him across the face. Run away. Never talk to him again.

"I will tell them." He yelled at him, throat sore.

"Don't you dare, Draco Malfoy." Lucius banged his walking stick against the marble floor. The sound echoed in the Library. His face was a nauseating purple color and the vein in his forehead looked like it was about to burst.

"I will tell him. He deserves the truth about his godfather. Everyone deserves the fucking truth."

"Draco," Lucius gritted his teeth, "Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to meddle with the mafia?"

"Then why did you? Why did you have to poke around in their business? Why couldn't you just be like you were? We were doing fucking fine until you ruined everything."

Lucius took a step back and took a deep breath, "Son, I am doing this for a reason. Do you know how profitable this is for us?"

Draco let out a laugh, it was humorless and he sounded almost maniacal. "Profitable? PROFITABLE!? SIRIUS IS DEAD! HOW THE FUCK IS THAT PROFITABLE?"

"LOWER YOUR VOICE!" Lucius boomed, eyes glinted with anger.

"NO! I WILL NOT. DO YOU REALLY VALUE MONEY OVER HIS LIFE?" His chest felt full of something he didn't wish to decipher. It was hurting him.

Lucius didn't answer. He looked away.

"Look at me. Dammit. Look me in the eye, Lucius." His neck snapped as his eyes landed on Draco's, "Where is my father? Where is the loving man who used to let me pick flowers from the garden when mother wasn't looking? Where is the man who used to invite the entire family over for Christmas so that I won't feel lonely? What happened?!"
