Pansy was really tired after travelling and then watching Titanic with Draco, so she fell asleep on the couch, all her belongings scattered at the corner of the room.
Draco sighed with exasperation and ordered some of the workers to carry her bags to the guest room. Next he picked her up and slung her over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes, she grumbled and held onto him tighter in her sleep. He carried her to the guest room which was close to his room with difficulty. She is such a child, he thought with a scoff as he dumped her on the bed, covering her with a duvet and stretching so the pain in his back would reduce. He could've left her there but he couldn't risk his father finding her sprawled over the couch.
He went to his room to get his outfit ready for dinner with Harry tonight, he wanted it to be perfect. They were going to the Three Broomsticks, Harry's favorite restaurant. He remembers Harry gushing about it during their dinner, saying that the place was close to his heart because he had spent most of his birthdays there.
He needed to dress in a way that wouldn't seem too posh or too casual. It had to be somewhere in the middle.
He chose a crisp white shirt, with his favorite silver cufflinks and pressed black trousers that matched perfectly together. Taking out his best black shoes, he felt finally satisfied with his choice and decided to work on his book for the rest of that day.
He sat on his desk and took out his notebook where he had been jotting down chapters and notes and whatever small ideas he could remember. It was a black notebook with his name written in silver written at the front of the cover in simple cursive.
He opened the latest page, where he was in the process of writing the part where the two friends are stuck on an island together.
The sand was warm against his feet, the sun kissing his tanned skin as he relished in the contentment of the salty wind and the soft crashing waves of the shore. The sky was crimson and orange, the sun setting into the distance. Everything was serene and calm. Klaus could hear the calls of the seagulls in the distance.
His best friend, Dave, gave him a weird look, "Why aren't we trying to fix our boat or give a signal to tell the others that we are here?" Dave was always worried about what would happen next, he was the kind of person who would never enjoy the current moment.
Klaus smiled at him, "We can do that tomorrow. Right now I want to enjoy where we are."
Harry shook his head with a faint smile, his rair, messy as always fell over his forehead. His lips lifted in a fond smile.
Wait.
Harry?
Oh no.
Draco winced and scratched out his name with his pen and closed the notebook immediately, tossing it into the drawer and vowing never to open it again. His eyes wide as he swallowed nervously.
The names Harry and Dave didn't even have similar letters for fucks sake. He groaned and face planted onto his bed. All the ideas he had gotten for the next chapter slipping down the drain.
Draco spent the rest of the afternoon wallowing in self pity.

The Three Broomsticks was bustling with many people when Draco reached there, Pansy in tow. She was sporting a black crop top and dark blue high-waisted jeans paired with heels that made her reach Draco's height.
They made their way to the reserved table.
"You got the table reserved?" Pansy asked with a snicker, "Are you trying to show off?"
"No," His cheeks burned, "I did it so there won't be any problems tonight. I want everything to go perfectly."
"So you've told me before," She rolled her eyes and picked up the glass of water in front of her, sipping gingerly, "If he likes you that much, he won't be bothered by where the night entails. It'll be fine."
Draco blew out a breath, "Okay." He nodded. "I need some wine." Pansy snorted.
"Excuse me, could we get a bottle of red wine, please?" Pansy called to the nearest waiter, giving him a wink when he looked at Pansy's face a little too long with a dark blush.
"You're too gay for him, Pans."
"He doesn't need to know that, it's not like I'm going to hook up with– HOLY SHIT!" She cursed loudly when she saw someone coming their way. She picked up the menu and pretended to read, hiding her face completely.
Draco flinched and turned his head. He saw Harry and a girl with red hair approaching them. She was wearing apparels similar to Pansy, only she wore an oversized t-shirt tucked into her skinny blue jeans.
She was staring at Pansy with a curious look whereas Harry had eyes only for Draco. He gave him a bright smile, his cheeks already red.
Draco waved at him. He waved back.
God! He was adorable.
And on top of all that adorable-ness, he looked extremely hot. He was wearing a black shirt which stretched deliciously over his chest. The sleeves were pulled up to reveal his forearms. His brown trousers clung onto his legs which accentuated every toned muscle he had. Draco felt a shiver go down his spine.
"Psst! Draco!" Pansy whispered loudly, "Is she staring at me?"
"The ginger girl? Yes," He whispered back, still keeping eye contact with Harry.
"I hooked up with her during my tour and left the next day," Pansy explained.
"You did what?!" Draco's head snapped towards her and she gave him a sheepish look from above the menu card.
"Draco!" Harry said happily, extending his hand for a shake. Draco gave him a weak smile, trying to not think about the fact that Harry's friend had slept with his best friend. He stood up instead and pulled him into a warm hug.
"Harry," He said warmly, kissing his cheek as they parted. Harry beamed at him.
"Draco," He said his name again, like it was a melody, "This is my dear friend, Ginny. Ginny, my fiance, Draco."
Ginny passed him an approving smile, looking pleased with the way he treated Harry. "Hello," She shook his hand, "I've heard a lot about you," Her smile was contagious.
Draco grinned, clearing his throat, "This is my best friend, Pansy," He said, pulling away the menu, making her widen her eyes with fear.
Ginny let out a soft gasp, which went unnoticed by Harry. Harry smiled, "Hi, Pansy. I'm Harry, lovely to meet you."
Pansy smiled a small smile, "Hi," She said.
This night was going to be a disaster.
