Draco watched his father's face turn pale as he conversed with James on the phone.

"Why?"

"But we already decided."

A few beats of silence as Draco played with the hem of his sleeves, "Right," Lucius paled further, "I'll inform Draco."

He placed the receiver back and rubbed his temple, the muscle in his jaw ticked.

"Harry said to cancel the wedding." Lucius sighed when he saw Draco staring at him inquisitively.

"What?"

"And push it forward by some time. Well, till his godfather is found." Lucius said gravely, wiping the building sweat off his forehead.

"Oh, then there is no problem, father. I'm sure the police will find Sirius soon. I'm pretty sure mum won't like to have a wedding without him either."

Lucius sneered, "The wedding needs to happen on the 11th of August and that's it. I don't want to push the dates further. Do you have any idea how expensive it will be, Draco?"

Draco gritted his teeth, "I don't care and Harry won't agree either." A wedding without Sirius would be a rather sad one and Sirius would be mad at them for doing it while he was kidnapped.

"Oh he will agree. I'll talk to the police myself." Lucius mumbled with confidence. His hands, however, trembled with fear. He left the room hurriedly, ignoring Draco's angry calls after his father. Draco let his hands run over his face, his father was making rash decisions. And for what? This was getting out of hand.

He needed to talk to his mother.

He locked the door of the study they were sitting in and picked up the telephone. He dialed in the number of their French Estate and waited for someone to pick up the call.

The ringing stopped and a cool voice answered the phone with a hint of French accent.

"Hullo," A man said.

"Hello, may I talk to Narcissa Malfoy." He said in his best impression of a low pitched voice.

"Who's speaking?" He inquired.

Draco waited for a beat before answering, "I'm her lawyer, I need to talk about the Estate."

"Right, I'll get you to her." The man replied and then there was silence on the phone. Draco waited for his mother, fingers crossed on top of his thigh, knee shaking with fear.

"Hello?" Narcissa replied in a soft voice and Draco closed his eyes with a small smile on his face.

"Mum," He whispered, back to his normal voice again.

"Son," Narcissa sighed with relief, "How are you, darling?"

"I'm okay, mum. I think I am." He paused, "How are you?"

"I'm well but I miss you very much, dear."

"Me too, mum. When will you be back?"

"I'll be there for your engagement."

"That's even further now, Harry has asked to postpone the wedding."

"What? Is everything alright?"

"No, mum. Harry isn't well because Sirius is missing."

"Sirius? Have they filed a police complaint?" She asked worriedly about her dear cousin.

"Yeah, they have. Harry has asked to push forth the wedding date because of that and father is saying he won't push the dates. Father is behaving strangely and cold. I don't know what to do, I'm scared."
