You are such an arsehole, Draco Malfoy!" Pansy exclaimed, "Fiance?! First kiss? And I am getting to know about this now?" She scoffed, "I thought we told each other everything!"
"Oh calm down you drama queen," Draco laughed, "For your information, you're the one who insisted we don't talk during your tour so that when you come back, you'll tell me everything in person,"
Pansy ducked her head and grinned shyly, "Okay, fine." She nodded, "Now tell me everything and by everything I mean everything, not vague stuff. I want every little detail."
Draco sighed and nodded, "I know,"
She stared at him expectantly.
"Last week, my parents told me that they're going to fix my marriage with someone,"
"Typical," She muttered under her breath.
Draco continued speaking, he was used to Pansy's unnecessary commentary and unusual expressions. He had grown up with her and had spent most of his time by her side ever since he was one year old. She had always been an annoying bint that always poked at him and made fun of him but he loved her nonetheless. Even if she was a total bitch sometimes, she was the only person he truly loved aside from his parents. They had been platonic soulmates ever since he had first pulled at her hair and she had spent the rest of the evening running after him with scissors threatening to make him bald; both had fallen in the heap of bushes and fell into laughter just when they were four.
Both their parents had dreamt of their marriage but their dreams came crashing down when they both declared at the same time that they were attracted to the opposite sex. Draco's parents didn't mind the idea but Pansy's parents were unhappy and angry so they turned her away and wrote her out of her inheritance.
"Harry Potter sounds hot," Pansy squeezed his arm after he had recounted all the incidents of his life that she had missed out on.
Draco agreed mentally. Potter was definitely the definition of hot.
"He is, but he's more on the adorable and sweet side," He lied, a redness creeping up his neck.
"Liar, I can hear your brain making up sex scenarios with him," She scoffed.
"Shut up," Draco blushed and smacked her hand. She cackled and snorted, "Do you like him?"
"I don't know," He ran his fingers through his hair, "He's amazing and I would love to be with him but I have a bad feeling about this,"
Pansy frowned, "Why?"
"The kiss was bloody amazing and I've had two dates with him and they were bloody perfect but I'm just scared to go further than this. What if I'm going too fast?"
"We're probably going to get married by next month! It's insane that we've just kissed and we're supposed to get attached to each other next month."
Pansy wrapped her arms around him, "We could run away if you want?" She whispered and rested her forehead on his shoulder.
"I've tried it and my mum isn't here. I can't leave, Pansy. It feels wrong to run away when she isn't here, she was the one who insisted on meeting Harry, saying that I won't regret meeting him and I just can't betray her trust like that. I can't," He said.
She hugged him tighter, "Well, let's forget about running away. You need to loosen up a bit, okay? Let's watch a movie. I'll order pizza."
Draco smiled, "Are you going to make me watch Titanic again?"
Pansy shrugged, "Don't act like you don't love it. You love Jack and I love Rose. I don't see a problem anywhere,"
Draco laughed, "Alright,"
***
"When are you going to introduce me to Harry?" Pansy stretched her limbs like a lazy cat as she stood up after they had finished crying over the ending. Her eyes were red around the rims and she looked tired.
"I'll have to ask him," Draco shrugged.
"Ask him now," Pansy demanded.
"How?"
She rolled her eyes with a huff and walked to the telephone directory that was hidden behind the television. She picked up the book and threw it at Draco, hitting his shoulder. Draco winced and brushed away the dust on the cover.
"This looks ancient," He blew out a surprised breath at the yellowing pages, turning the pages with his slender fingers. Pansy plopped down next to him.
"Look in the letter 'P' for Potter," Pansy scoffed when Draco took his time marveling over the text.
"Okay, okay," He said in exasperation and turned the pages and searched for Potter's last name.
"Aha! There it is!" Pansy exclaimed, her long nail pointing at the name Potter.
"That is the Pottery Warehouse, dumbass,"
"Oh."
They searched again. Draco found the right one this time, "Here it is," He ran a thumb over his name.
Pansy picked up the telephone and dialed the number so quickly that Draco couldn't even see her.
She handed Draco the phone and smiled innocently. Draco looked panicked as the phone was picked up by Mrs. Potter.
"Hello?"
"Hello, this is the Potter residence," Said the cool voice, "Who am I speaking with?"
"Draco Malfoy," He answered instantly, "Hello, Mrs. Potter."
"Draco, Hello! It's so lovely to hear your voice," She gushed, "And please, call me Lily," Draco could hear her smiling.
"How are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm doing well, how about you?"
"I'm doing fabulous, thank you. I presume you called to talk to Harry?"
Draco coughed awkwardly, "Yes, I did."
"I have to say that I was very pleased with your decision to marry our Harry. I've never seen him more happy,"
"Of course, Mrs. Po- I mean, Lily. He is the perfect choice." He felt Pansy smirking at him, his cheeks heating up instantly.
"I'm sorry but Harry is out with his friends right now, but you can tell me if you had a message you needed to pass to him,"
"A friend of mine wished to meet him," He explained, "So I wanted to invite him for dinner tonight."
"Oh alright, when and where?"
"The Three Broomsticks at seven,"
"That's my favorite restaurant and alright, I'll tell him as soon as he is back," She said happily.
"Thank you, Lily. Have a lovely day,"
"You as well, love." She cut the call and Draco let out a sigh of relief.
Pansy fell into laughter, "He is the perfect choice," She mimicked him and giggled, "You're such a sap, Draco Malfoy."
He hit a pillow on her face.
