THIS CAN NOT BE HAPPENING

THE GIFT WAS a nice bracelet, adorned with beads of her favorite colors. It was a nice gift, but she still couldn't get over how there was a gift left for her when she wasn't invited in the first place.

She had been admiring the bracelet when she heard Chris shout, "Ash?" Quickly she rushed downstairs. Her footsteps were loud as she moved down the stairs, and when she made it to the first floor a flashlight was shined in her direction, pinned on her, "Ash?" It was still Chris.

She raised her hands slightly, holding onto the balcony, "Chris? What's going on?"

"Ashley and I found threats in the library. We heard Josh scream and then I got knocked out by some psycho. When I woke up Ashley was gone, but I found blood and her wallet." Chris's voice was quick as he informed her, pacing in a panic.

"Shit...That can't be good." (F/N)'s eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"Not at all. I've checked the entire downstairs, and there was a trail leading this way." Chris pointed out of the door.

"Well let's go." (F/N) waved him forward. The pair traveled out of the building and into the outside where snow was falling from the sky. "You said you saw a psycho?"

Chris scrunched his face, "It was all really foggy. But it wasn't Ashley, that's for sure."

They turned, shouting the names of Ashley and Josh (who was also out in the cold, and to be concerned for) as they ventured down the path quickly. Chris was walking first as he had the light, and he was the one who tripped something as a figure abruptly flew up from under the snow. Chris jumped back, grabbing onto (F/N) as he shouted, "Whoa!"

"What is that!?" (F/N) asked, equally as scared just without the shouting. They likely looked like Shaggy and Scooby right now, holding onto each other in fear and shaking from the cold.

"What in the hell?" Chris questioned, shining the figure with his flashlight. He revealed a scarecrow wearing a clown mask. "Who would do this?"

     "Someone demented." (F/N) said.

A little further up the path, they found a severed pig's head, some blood still around it in a dried puddle. "Aw, shit." Chris reeled back in disgust.

They continued down the path anyway, determined to find their missing friends. Eventually, the path led to a large triangle-roofed building that had a singular light on, and the door swung wide open invitingly. Chris entered first, and after noticing the room was empty, he shouted, "Ashley!?"

Just as (F/N) followed him into the room, he got a response, "Chris?" It was Ashley.

"Ash, I'm here!" Chris assured, his pace picking up as he rushed through the building.

"Please! Help me!" Ashley's voice was coming from a different room.

"I-I'm coming Ash, just keep talking to me! What happened?" Chris stammered out, leading through the building. That was until they made it to a room that was separated via a fence wall, giving them a view into the other side.
