Monzara was the magical epicenter for all those who wished to learn to control otherwise dormant magic ,or were simply born magical. The Institute is one of a few places within Monzara than are heavily popular to visit or attend. Two others being Little Wands Academy & Monzara Penitentiary for the Magically Troubled.
This prestigious school has been around for many years. It is a safe haven for those born with magic, & those who wish to learn magic otherwise dormant. It is a common rare occurrence for those to manifest magic even though they have a few or no magical familial ties.
Non-Magical people are prohibited from entering the institute without extreme reason, or around the institute' grounds.
Monzara is split into four official houses alongside a secret hidden house:
Wing, The House Of Fae-folk: Those who inhabit this house are very friendly as well as kind. Very loyal, but won't stand when offended. They may seem fickle or docile, but with the right fixated emotion...their magic can pack quick the punch. Their emotions play a huge amount when pertaining to their magic & can even give the spellcasters of this house an emotional glow. Often assumed to have a great affinity or connection to birds.
Oceania, The House Of The Mer-folk: Those within this house are very beautiful. Their beauty often can be a giant distraction, but overall can be tamed if you know how to resist any spell from a spellcaster of this house. Very tricky. Spellcasters of this house have a great affinity for water & can even sing siren songs. These siren songs can manipulate, brainwash, & or affect the mood of whoever it is cast upon. Not all spellcasters of this house are excessively vain, but will be highly offended if their beauty is questioned. They find bliss in their appearances. DO NOT CRITICIZE THEM.
Lycan, The House Of The Lycanthrope: Spellcasters who belong to this house are wild cards. We all know werewolves are the shapeshifters who can also pass for human... DO NOT CALL THEM DOGS. Can be very self-assured, but will quickly go mute to conceal secrets of their house. If you hear howling... STAY AWAY. However, this isn't always subjected to only the lycanthropic shifters. Other forms are a rare semi-common occurrence.
Bat, The House Of The Bloodthirsty: Those who inhabit this house survive on blood (or do they really ?), but don't worry. It is magical synthetic blood (Lmao they like to play with it). They naturally are supposed to detest the Lycan House, but truthfully they can't really be bothered with centauries of opposition. They tend to be very reserved. Mood usually stays in one state regardless of adrenaline. Get extremely along well with Wing House (Well, only when the Wing House isn't terrified of them because of the supposed bloodthirst. Or simply because birds & regular bats don't commonly interact).
*Hydra, The House Of The Twisted & Absurd: There is nothing officially known of this house. This house isn't even officially listed when you generally find information on Monzara, Institute Of The Arcane. Does it make you lose your mind ? Is it even real at all ? Will we ever find out ?
