HUENING KAI POV

I was dropped off at the dormitory for House Wing. It was overwhelming, to say the least. I could see the faint aura of everyone' emotions. Something only members of House Wing were capable of. Our dormitory was very open.

I saw hues of yellow, green, blue, red, pink... You name it. I took a seat by a window that thankfully wasn't crowded with people talking. I enjoyed the cool breeze as it tickled my skin lightly. Sprites also floated around & just hung out. Clearly House Wing was the most tranquil of the four houses of Monzara Institute.

I felt better that I had earlier, but I couldn't shake this feeling in the pit of my stomach. That is when I first heard it. A little whisper. I looked around, but found nothing for a minute. Did I imagine that ? "당신은 낫지 않았어요. 그 병은 그렇게 쉽게 낫지 않을 거예요." (You aren't cured. That illness will not be going away that easily.)

I whispered back as I tried not to draw attention to myself, "What do you mean ? What are you ?" I could tell already that this was no sprite. "그건 중요하지 않아요. 정확히 자정에 안개의 호수로 가세요." (That does not matter. Go to the Lake Of Mist precisely at midnight.)

I had to admit it. I was terrified. Go to the lake ? I can't possibly believe what I am hearing. I tried to keep my voice low. Was this all some sick prank to make me want to leave the institute ? I heard whatever was communicating with me laugh. "Midnight. Don't make me wait, Huening. I expect to see you."

Just like that the voice was gone. Suddenly a insane headache overcame me. Like a migraine. It felt like my head was splitting in two.

-----------------------------------------------------

I soon wake up back in the hospital wing. "Minjoo ?", I called very much confused. However, clearly I had fainted once again. "Oh ? How are you feeling, Kai ?" She was still in a human form. My guess to not scare those who've never seen a sprite. Especially since they typically stay at the House Wing dorm or attached to members of House Wing.

"My head isn't hurting anymore, but the nausea is still there." She made a look like that was concerning. "No need to worry, Kai. Just relax & drink the water I set out for you." I did as told. Soon enough the four others from earlier were also back in the hospital wing alongside me.

Just what was wrong with the five of us ?

It wasn't long before we all made our ways to the Lake Of Mist. No one muttered a word. Our feet just carried us until we reached the lake. All was completely silent. That is when I felt a forceful shove.

Next thing I know... my lungs were filling with mist ,& I fell into a trance.
