BEOMGYU POV

I felt right at home in House Lycan. The dorm was very open. So much so we had direct paths & openings to the woods near the institute. Soobin had continued his walk with Headmaster Choi, so I am alone at the moment. I took a little seat under a tree closest to the opening of the dorm that lead outside.

"I expected more from you. I'm disappointed," I heard a voice say. It was like it was inside my head. Not my inner conscience, but another entity entirely. "Why would you expect anything of me ? Who are you ?" The voice chuckled & I felt like it echoed through the trees.

"당신은 아무것도 모르는군요, 그렇죠? 범규아, 당신은 헤아릴 수 없는 힘을 가지고 있어요."(You don't know anything, do you ? You have unmeasurable power, Beomgyu ah.) What ? How did they know ? No one so far knows I am a legacy. I still had no real idea of what that meant for me at all. "So what do you want from me ? Blackmailing won't get you anything."

That is when the entity sighed. It sounded so close. Like it was directly in my ears. "Blackmail ? I don't have to blackmail you, Beomgyu ah. That isn't even a part of the plan." I was completely shocked. What was going on ?

I looked around to see if anyone was paying attention to me at all. I realized that I was still fairly a distance away from one of the openings to House Lycan. "저리 가세요. 당신이 어떤 사람이든 난 아무 것도 하고 싶지 않아요." (Go away. I want nothing to do with whatever you are.) I wanted this voice to leave. Completely leave.

Sadly, I wasn't going to get what I wished for. The entity or whatever it was seemed extremely determined. "At approximately midnight make you way to the Lake Of Mist. No later, okay ?" Huh ? Why would it want me to go there ? "Isn't that forbidden ? Why are you asking this of me ?"

Of course, I wasn't going to get any real explanation. Why would I ? The entity never gave straight answers anyway. Why did it want me to go to the lake ? "아버님께서 아프셔서 첫날을 망쳤다고 어떻게 생각하시겠어요? 범규아, 그게 당신 가족의 유산에 무슨 영향을 미칠까요? 내가 부탁한 것들로부터 당신 자신을 보호하기 위해 당신 가족을 해칠 의향이 있나요?" (How would your father dearest feel that you screwed up your first day by getting sick ? What would that do to the legacy your family holds, Beomgyu ah ? Are you willing to hurt your family to protect yourself from what I asked of you ?) My throat felt as if the air was sucked out of it. My breathing had quickened immensely. What ? Why ? Why me ? Why was this happening to me ?

Then...everything went black.

I woke up in the hospital wing. Surrounded by the others I met earlier. Was it normal to share an intense feeling ? It felt as it we all were absolutely scared of what was to come.

Before long me ,& the other guys had all began making our way to the Lake Of Mist. I was completely nervous. What could the voice ask of us now ? What could it ask of me ?

My inner dialogued questions weren't answered before I suddenly hit the mist. My mind went blank...
