0.6: A Sudden Illness ?

The huge mahogany double doors to Monzara, Institute Of The Arcane soon opened up to welcome the new First Years. Well, hopefully all entering would be first years. Soobin' father clasped his hands together proudly as he offered a smile to those before him. "I offer a warm welcome to you all !"

The cheers erupted from sheer excitement. Soobin rolled his eyes. He knew his father was a showoff, but hadn't expected it to this extent. The entirely off feeling stayed as our five boys take their first steps into the institute as official students.

The houses split off into their sections. Headmaster Choi began speaking once more. "This institute will become your home away from home. Do not be afraid to ask questions or explore the grounds. You have all the access you shall need here at the institute..."

The was simple chatter among the crowds of First Years. "누가 오세아니아 가문을 농락하고 싶습니까?" (Who wants to prank House Oceania ?), a few members of House Wing said in a playful manner. No ill intentions whatsoever. Others worried about the dorms or simply what Houses they wished to avoid at all costs.

Little did anyone know of what lurked around this very institute. Watching. That's all it did for now. Just watched everything. Headmaster Choi then showed the First Years something very interesting. The outdated hierarchy of the Monzara Institute houses.

The hierarchy was previously as followed (First place having the most influence & last place not having much of a influential stance): Lycan, Bat, Oceania, Wing

A sudden chill overtook the gathering of First Years as Soobin' father lead them further into the institute. Soobin' mother pulled him aside. "Are you alright ? You look pale." Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one being affected by a sudden illness. "전 괜찮아요...전..." (I'm fine...I'm...) Soobin didn't finish before his body collapsed to the floor. A few screams erupted within the crowd as Beomgyu, Huening Kai, Taehyun, & Yeonjun hit the floor unconscious.

A Few Hours Later...

The five boys awaken in the institute' hospital wing. A small orb with a faint glowing yellow aura zipped around as it seemed to be taking note that the boys were now awake. A sprite. Clearly a creature closely related to those of House Wing. The orb then transformed into a full fledged, two legged person. "What happened ?", Kai asked as the now transformed orb could make eye contact with them. "You all suddenly had grown very ill & fainted on your tour of the institute' grounds--," the person' attention immediately going to Soobin, then Taehyun, & lastly Beomgyu. No real reason was given why either.

"You three especially had bad reactions. I wanted to keep you a while longer to be entirely sure, but you've woken up now." Yeonjun then asked the one question all within the room were dreading. He ran a hand through his hair frustrated, "당신은 무엇이 우리를 기절하게 했는지 아나요? 이런 일이 자주 일어납니까?" (Do you know what caused us to faint ? Does this happen often ?) The nurse gave a really unsettling look. "We have no idea. In all my years here, I have never witnessed what has happened to the five of you."

The nurse handed out some glasses of water for them to drink. Taehyun seemed the most skeptical. They had to know something, right ? "What do you know then ?", He taunted the sprite only getting a small flinch in response. Sprites typically were hesitant with members of House Bat because they were known to be cold & aloof. "저는 아무것도 몰라요. 죄송해요." (I don't know anything. I'm sorry.)

Soobin clasped his hands together loudly. A near mirroring of what his father had done before letting everyone into the institute. "We should stay here. Make sure that there is nothing seriously wrong with us." The sprite nodded before Huening Kai spoke up in a soft tone. A cyan aura erupted from him. Making Kai seem like he was glowing blue. "Have we missed the bonding ceremony ?"

The young sprites' name was Minjoo. "Bonding ceremony ? I think it ended an hour ago." Soon enough Soobin' father entered the hospital wing. "Are you all feeling better ? I would like to take you to perform a last minute bonding ceremony."

Beomgyu stood up slowly followed by Taehyun then Yeonjun, & lastly Kai. Soobin hesitated since it was his father. What was his father' main concern ? The institute, of course. "Come. Soobin. Let's get this ceremony out of the way," Headmaster Choi said before leading them down towards the Lake Of Mist.
