The Story of Naija Khalei (Part 1)
Naija Khalei, daughter of Kesh yet also known as Darth Nyx was perhaps the greatest chance the Sith Empire had at winning the war against the Republic. From an early age, she showed an immense capacity for War and Battle Strategy. In her very first group examination at the Academy located on her homeworld of Kesh, she successfully led fellow students in conducting an ambush against a visiting Sith Lord. The Lord in question, Darth Hadra, took a great liking to the young Keshiri and thus sponsored her entry into the Sith Academy on Korriban.
As a student training under some of the Academy's finest, Naija Khalei quickly distinguished herself from her peers. Her very first feat occurred when wild beasts attempted to break onto school grounds. Acting quickly, she rushed to the nearest bottleneck and held the horde at bay for an hour with nothing but the training staff she'd been given upon arrival which in and of itself was nothing more than a glorified stick.
One would assume that for her act of bravery she'd be rewarded but instead, her success only made her peers furious. Shortly after her success, she was cornered on Academy grounds and attacked by five female students while changing her clothes. Despite being unarmed, she easily disarmed them one after the other before snapping the leader's neck with her bare hands. Upon seeing this, the others attempted to flee but soon found themselves being lifted off the ground as the very air was squeezed from their lungs. Begging for mercy, all but one was eventually killed with the survivor made to swear undying fealty to her new master.
Naija's actions didn't go unnoticed by the faculty but despite their hatred for her and her sponsor, they could do nothing but watch and wait. In their hesitance, however, Naija continued to grow in strength and experience and before long she'd become proficient enough for an assignment to retrieve a long-deceased Dark Lord's lightsaber to claim as her own to not draw suspicion. Indeed, her sponsor immediately agreed to the proposal and before long Naija was deep within Darth Nihilus' tomb.
During her expedition, Naija fought off countless attempts to kill her by students and teachers alike. She navigated booby-trapped rooms and solved puzzles. She slew giant beasts and even defied death by using the force to remove poison from her body after being struck in the side by a poisoned projectile. It took her three days of non-stop fighting but despite the odds, she succeeded in making it to the lightsaber despite setting out with nothing but her trusty training staff.
Upon her arrival, the lightsaber glowed crimson red as if acknowledging her presence but the minute she moved forward, a dark fog encased the room.
"Who dares come before me?"
The voice shook the very foundations of the tomb but she held her ground, if only by using the training staff as a third leg. This seemingly angered the being which soon attacked but through a mixture of the force and skilful reflexes, she maintained distance long enough to turn the tide.
