Our forces have already begun getting underway. I myself am about to depart on a shuttle to my capital ship when the Inquisitor we'd captured on Tatooine seemingly ages ago is brought before me. Honestly, I'd totally forgotten she'd existed but as she kneels before me and begs to join my empire, I find myself less inclined to kill her than I thought I'd be.
Me: Very well, you can serve me if you complete our trials.
Inquisitor: Trials?
Me: Take her to Korriban. I'll let Darth Nihilus know to expect her.
Hadra gives the girl a look of pity as she's led away but I hardly give the decision a second glance as we board the shuttle for space. Once on the ship, I move towards the bridge where I'm joined by Shae, Hadra and Avril. Lassa and Djin are also with me. Kailey has elected to remain on her own ship for the time being and will be heading to Stenos. We, on the other hand, will be heading first to Florrum to pacify the pirates there and then to Elom where we'll secure our first true populated planet.
Me: So Lassa, do you think the pirates there will cooperate?
Lassa: Hondo Ohnaka is infamous for not being trustworthy to most so long as he deems it more profitable to betray them which he always does. He's a trickster but if you can get him to fight alongside you he could prove a great asset.
Me: Sounds like more trouble than it is worth.
Our dreadnought drops out of hyperspace near the world of Florrum.

Me: Lovely looking planet. Could make a decent future colony.
Avril: Would you like to open a channel?
Me: A channel? No. Locate all life signs on the planet and begin orbital bombardment when ready. Likewise, deploy our fighters to ensure that no ship or fighter manages to leave the atmosphere and jump away.
Avril doesn't hesitate, immediately giving the order to commence bombardment of the sole inhabited structure on the planet's surface. The pirates don't even manage to launch their fighters as destruction rains down upon them through the clouds.
With the full firepower of our ship brought to bear in addition to its airwing, the complete eradication of the pirates present takes less than an hour with our fighters dipping in and out of the atmosphere whenever necessary to inflict further casualties. About halfway through the bombardment they surrender but I have the ships continue firing until all sensors report no further sentient life is present and all vehicles are destroyed.
Me: Next stop, Elom.
Lassa: Was that really necessary, Mistress?
Me: You, Djin and your crew are the only pirates I've ever come across and allowed to live.
Djin: I wasn't exactly a pirate. I was a smuggler at best.
