Life as an Empress isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Sure, during the first year or so things were quite hectic but now life's a breeze. I still have some official duties here and there but with the vast majority being delegated to people lower in rank than me things have been a lot lighter. It also helps that Hadra has effectively become the intermediary between me and everyone else save for a few individuals.
Life within my Empire has been equally as good. For starters, we solved our food shortage rather quickly as the people were more than willing to cooperate. We've also somehow managed to avoid gaining the ire of the Empire though I suppose it has to do with the fact that though we now have control of Lianna's star system we haven't actively tried cutting off their trade routes to the corporate sector.
We've received news from time to time that the organization behind the rebels we'd wiped out on Yavin IV has upped its attacks against the Empire so perhaps that's why they haven't come for us as yet but who cares? For the time being, we'll simply continue strengthening our position in preparation for our all-out offensives in the somewhat distant future.
Speaking of future plans, the clones are coming along well. They are all still young, toddlers at best but with over 500,000 of them being produced per batch our army should be up to speed in no time as each year a new batch is produced. My own clones are, however, proving much more tricky to handle. As unaltered clones, they have already begun showing signs of both the best and worst parts of Shae and me. However, they are about to begin their training so we'll have to wait and see.
So far, our economic prowess relies heavily on the productivity of Lianna which has continued trading with the rest of the galaxy with little to no interruption. The engineers we'd received from the Shipping Guild have also proven their merit as well though not before passing through a general screening process on Korriban.
Our initial attacks against the Imperial Bases also managed to secure us a substantial amount of credits, especially on the planet of Elom and though we've used a significant portion of that balance to help restore their society our reserves remain full for now.
On the military side of things, we've accrued quite the fleet though the vast majority of the ships we'd acquired from Bracca remain umanned but maintained. There was some discussion surrounding potentially storing them away for future use but I ultimately decided against that in favour of continuing to use the opportunity they present to train our engineers in maintaining and repairing the ships. They also serve as training platforms for new recruits.
Thrawn has managed to get his project underway, working with Valles Santhe and her corporation on improving the design of the TIE Fighter. The project's expected to be finished next year but we're already seeing a vast improvement in the fighter's capabilities. It'll be a new model of fighter, still fairly easy to manufacture though costing a bit more per fighter. However, based on the performance increase it'll likely be equipped to all our starships once complete and mass-produced.

Things are still going well. There have been some skirmishes between our forces and that of the Empire but for the most part, no major offensives have been carried out. Thrawn has a feeling that they are planning something massive and has thus given Cad Bane and Fennec Shand the task of finding out what the Empire is up to.
They report that the rebel forces have managed to gain a temporary foothold in the outer rim and as a result, the vast majority of the Empire's forces that aren't focused on patrols or guarding important locations/trade routes have been committed to wiping them out.
It seems the rebels are using our sudden ascension and the crippling defeats the Empire has suffered at our hands as a springboard for their own campaign. It's not that I mind. They can kill each other for all I care. However, I know we can't merely sit by forever.
