Theresia's POV
Leonor and I went to work together for the first time. I'll have to get used to this because this is how we'll do for the remaining days of our lives.
She held my hand as we walked through the hallways. I greet every staff I meet, pero siya dedma lang.
"Huy, mag-good morning ka naman sa kanila." I whispered to her habang sinisiko ko siya. She just shrugged and laughed it off.
Gusto na niya that I'll work inside her office too. Meron nang 2 desks sa loob. I own the one on the side.
According to her, mas ma-iinspire daw siya magtrabaho that way.
Bola talaga.
"Love, may meeting ka later, okay?" I reminded her as I sat on my desk and she sat on hers. She nodded in response. "Coffee, you want?" I offered but she said "Hindi na muna love. Maaga pa. Pahinga ka muna jan."
Parang di ko na nagagampanan pagiging assistant sa kanya. By what she's doing, position ko na lang yun. She even does my part sometimes.
She then opened her laptop and worked on some spreadsheets. On the other hand, I responded to some emails for her.
"Love?" she asked.
"Hmm?"
"I want you to come with me sa meeting mamaya ha." she said glancing at me, tilting her head to the right.
"Hindi ba private matters yun? Maybe they don't want me there." I said.
She sighed "Pero I want you there so that you'll learn." I just laughed softly at her response.
Mapilit talaga.

We walked together towards the conference room. When we entered, everyone was there already.
Including Mr. Aguirre, the head investor for today's meeting.
"Ms. Gerona, you didn't inform us about your assistant joining this meeting. Private matters ito. Why is she here?" he stood up from his chair.
"Correction, Mr. Aguirre. She's my girlfriend." Leonor spoke back to him.
"Even though. Assistant pa rin ang posisyon niya. This meeting is for the executives only. Ang assistant ba nabibilang doon? Ano bang tingin mo sa kanya?"
"Where do you see yourself, iha?!" he faced me when he asked me this time.
"In a position higher than yours after this meeting ends." Leonor answered for me and all the other executives gasped when they heard it.
"Excuse me, Ms. Gerona?"
Hinihila ko na siya nang slight papalayo. I just know that once this gets heated more, hindi na siya mapipigilan.
"You heard it right, Mr. Aguirre."
"Do you know makakasira sa kumpanya mo 'tong ginagawa mo?!" he questioned Leonor.
"Oh, yes. I'm very much aware. But let's not forget that this'll put your firm at stake too." Leonor said, leaning forward on the table. "If I go down, I'll bring you with me. I'll even put you lower than where I'd land if I fall." she added with eyes flaring.
"You wouldn't want to mess up with Leonor." one man whispered to another, shaking his head. Narinig ko lang naman.
Once again, nakakatakot na naman siya.
