Theresia's POV

The lights finally lay low. I looked around me and I saw a familiar figure. "Wow." the voice said.

"Congratulations!" she said, clapping slowly.

Everyone was looking at her. She donned a red blouse with a patterned skirt and stunning shoes. Her dimples appeared when she waved at me.

The crowd clapped for her. "Welcome back, ma'am!" they said.

My world came to a halt the next moment. For a brief moment, time stood still.

I heard two heartbeats synchronized. The first was mine, and the second was hers.

I remained still. My feet stood locked, even though I couldn't move, and tears flowed. With what I saw, my eyes became bigger. She's still alive right in front of me.

I saw her...

I saw my everything...

I ran towards her and I embraced her. "Pangga!" I shouted. She welcomed me with a tight hug.

"Bumalik ka?" I said, sobbing.

"Sabi sayo eh. You just have to wait." she said, smirking. I hugged her again and everyone cheered.

"Na-miss kita!" I said to her while we kept each other inside our arms.

"I can feel the emptiness every second without you. The sound of the storm rain, even the severe wind. You become a great shade to shield me. You didn't want me to know about your pain, but I can tell by your forced smile." I said to her, wiping the tears that's falling in her cheeks.

"I can tell by your eyes, your cold heart, your deep voice, and your light smile even if you don't say anything. You've had a hard day and don't want to show me how exhausted you are, but I can tell by your forced look." she said too.

"I'm here na, pangga. Like the purple dusk, I'll always come for you. I will hold you even though my arms are short." she beamed at me. How I missed those cute dimples of hers. She hugged me again.

"Okay ka na?"

"Okay na okay! You're here already. Welcome home!"

She was also called to deliver her speech. On the spot tuloy.

I was still in the verge of crying more but I'm just happy now that I'll get to see her speak again.

My hands clapped but my heart cheered louder.
