I received a text message as soon as I woke up. I looked beside me and Theresia was still asleep. Hindi naman na nag-reply sa akin.
Paano ko malalaman?
Whoever it is, it's very alarming. Nakapagtataka kung paano nakuha ang number ko.
I never shared confidential information and meron naman akong company number. My personal phone number is kept secret.
I tried to get out as careful as I can from our bed so that Theresia doesn't wake up.
She then yawned and murmured, "Ga? Kumusta pakiramdam mo? Papasok ka na?" she asked. Her eyes were still closed. "Y-yes, mahal. Okay na ako." I replied.
I felt ill after our drinking sesh last night.
"I'll be the one to meet the executives sa office today, ha?" she said smiling at me. I do not know if I should let her pero since I allowed her last night, hindi pupwedeng iibahin ko pa ang usapan.
My body still feels heavy. Siguro dahil na rin sa palagi akong pagod.
"Yes, mahal. Galingan mo ha!" I said to her as I kissed her. I rushed to the closet to get ready to go. Kailangan kong magmadali so that I can talk to Leila and ask her about this.
I wore anything that was available. The fastest ones I could wear.
I ran going out and Theresia sat on the bed "Bakit ka nagmamadali?" she asked, tilting her head to the left. "I have some important matters to attend to. Kaya mo naman diba?" I answered her. "Oo naman." she nodded.
I just smiled at her and left already.

"Lei, I do not know kung sino sa kanila, okay? If this about business feuds, then ang dami ko nang naka-away inside the business field. Hindi ko na alam sino." sabi ko kay Leila.
"Leonor, this is very alarming lalo na't anonymous yan."
"I know. Kaya nga I want to know who. Also, do not tell Theresia about this. Mag-aalala pa yun. I'm not feeling well, but still." I begged Leila not to tell my girlfriend.
Kahit na there's a threat going on, si Theresia pa rin naiisip ko.
"Hanggang kailan mo itatago? Malalaman niya rin 'to." she clicked her tongue and crossed her arms together. "As long as kailangan. This is scarier Lei. Lalo na't I have Theresia, I cannot put her at risk too." I just had my hands on my head in frustration.
"If this gets more dangerous, saving and keeping Theresia from this would be my first move."
It was just then that I received a call. "Hello?" I asked as I picked up.
