Theresia's POV

"Love, what do you want the wedding to be ba? Intimate or yung grand?" Leonor asked me. We both sat inside her office. I looked at her and she was looking towards her iPad. "Hmmm... I think maganda yung grand. Para maraming maka-witness ng I do's natin." I chuckled softly and she did too.

"Oo nga. Tama. My wife deserves the best wedding ceremony, noted..." she said quietly.

"Do you want it outdoors or indoors?" she asked again. I sat closer to her and laid my head on her shoulder. "I feel like magandang church yung mismong ceremony then the reception will be outdoor para maraming magawa diba tapos sentimental yung moment? Tsaka, gabi na kasi nun eh." I suggested and her eyes widened.

"Ang galing galing mo ha! Talino mo talaga, mahal. I like that!" she said as she kissed my forehead. I giggled at her reaction. Tinitignan ko rin yung screen ng iPad, she's searching for references.

"Ikaw mahal? Saan mo gustong maganap yan?" I asked her this time. "Here in this country. Marami na akong pinuntahang bansa dati, dito lang naman kita natagpuan. Pero up to you if want mo, pwede rin tayo sa ibang bansa." she answered.

"Wow," Leonor said in amazement. "Could you believe it? We're getting married in November!"

"Soon, you'll be my wife." I spoke, pinching her cheeks.

"Oh, I can't wait to be your wife!"

It suddenly came to my mind to change the topic muna. I just want to have a deep talk with her for now. About life, our plans as a couple, and how we'll be able to resist anything that can break our relationship.

"Pangga, have you thought of it na paano kung hindi tayo nagkakilala?" I asked her, brushing her hair with my fingers.

"Hmmm... Oo. At times, naiisip ko rin." she placed her iPad down as she answered. Her gaze locked on me. It was a sign that she wants to engage in this conversation which pleased me.

"Kasi kung hindi kita nakilala, everything I feel and have now wouldn't exist. Eh masaya ako at kuntento. Kung wala ka, it'd be the exact opposite of all the joys you brought to my life." she added and I nodded my head at her words.

"Siguro, kung ako, baka ilang beses na akong napahamak. Ikaw lang naman knight in shining armor ko eh." I told her and she chuckled. "Kita mo. May advantage din pagiging masungit ko." she said and we laughed in unison.

"Wag mo na ako iiwan please? Sana hindi ka maging katulad nung mga past ko." I said, frowning. She kissed my forehead and clicked her tongue, "No mahal. I'll never be them. You know, everytime I talk to myself, I'd say that I should treat you the best that I can." she said.

"I understand your trauma, Mahal. You didn't deserve all those treatment. You deserve a hand to hold forever. One by which wouldn't hurt you, but guide you throughout. One that won't harm you, but love you through touch." she said, glancing at the engagement ring on my finger.

"Marami na tayong pinagdaanan at marami pa tayong pagdadaanan in the future. The difference is that we'll have each other's hands and back to catch each other when we fall. Hindi na ako mag-iisa at ikaw din, Mahal. You'll have me always." she said and I was sobbing already. She wiped my tears with her thumbs and kissed my lips in between.

"Ako, I experienced growing up alone with my father. I didn't witness my parents love each other. Hindi ko nga alam kung mahal ba talaga nila isa't isa. That's why I promise to you now and as well as to our children in the future that they won't have to go through everything I did before. 'Di ba, mahal?" she said and I nodded.
