Almost A Love Story

Let's Talk About It

It's almost 8 pm when Christina arrived in New York she quickly look gor a cab and drove straight to the hotel where Meredith is staying. Meredith texted her the room number so that she don't need to ask for help on the lobby.

CHRISTINA'S POV
I reached the hotel almost 10 pm, I got stuck in the traffic. I took the elevator and look for Meredith's room. I finally saw it so I knocked on it once. After the second knock I still hear no responses. I started to get really worried so I knocked the door from time to time.

"Mer, Meredith!!" Christina keeps on knocking the door. After a few more knocks, Meredith opened her slowly. She could hear the door's sound and Christina's loud voice. She quickly stood up and opened the door.

She saw Christina standing right infront of her. Christina was mortified to see her swollen eyes. She quickly hugged her. Meredith cried on her shoulder hugging her tighter.

They walked inside and sat on the edge of the bed. Christina pats her back. Trying to make her stop from crying.

"Meredith, I want you to tell me what exactly happened" Christina asked holding Meredith's arm. She was facing her, more warm tears came streaming down her cheeks. She can't stop crying. She wanted to scream but there are no words coming out on her mouth. All she could do was cry, and hold her chest because of the pain.
She took Meredith's head and put it into her shoulder. Meredith cries louder.

"A-an-andrew..." She stutters. "What? What happened to Andrew?" Christina asked. "He uhm, he-" she said still stuttering. "What'd he do to you? Did he hurt you? Did he-" before Christina could even finish her sentence, Meredith cuts her off. "I slept with, i fucking slept with him. I had sex with someone!!" she stated stopping herself from crying.
"Oh My God!! That asshole. Where is he let me kill that man!!" Christina said angrily.
"No, please just stay here" she said crying again.
"Did he force you? Did he took advantage of you?" Christina asked worriedly. "No, it was my fault. I- i wasn't thinking right. I was having a breakdown and i went to his room" she said still crying.
"Meredith, you're a girl even when you're standing naked infront of him he shouldn't had sex with you given the fact that he knows you're getting married" Christina said fiercely holding Meredith's arm.

She continued sobbing. She put her head on her shoulders trying to find comfort on her best friend. Christina was hugging Meredith when they both heard a knock on the door.

"Meredith, Meredith please open up let's talk please" Andrew begs knocking on the door. "That asshole!" Christina burst out. "Tell him to just go home,please Christina you need to calm down" she said worriedly.

Christina stand up and opened the door. "Can i talk to Meredith?" he asked sadly. "Go away" she said quickly. "Please let me just say sorry to her, i-i shouldn't have done that" Andrew begs. "Are you going away or I'll kick you down the stairs?" she said madly. "Please, Christina" he begs again. "Are you deaf? I said go away she doesn't want to talk to you. You know that she's getting married, why the hell did you, oh god. I want to punch you in the face right now, but my friend needs me. Just go or I will run you down!!" she said before slamming the door close.

She went back to Meredith who's lying on the bed, curled up crying. She laid down next to her and hugged her.

Andrew, on the other hand is on his way to the airport. Inside the plane all he could think is what kind of an asshole he is. He shouldn't have done, he was supposed to comfort her and not give her any burdens. But he wasn't thinking right, the next thing he knew is he slept with a girl who's getting married. 

When Meredith was all calmed down, she started packing her things. Christina helped her. She pats her back telling her that everything will be alright. "But what about Derek?" she asked. They sat on the bed facing each other.

"Do you really love him?" Christina asked. She's not answering, she's looking downwards. "Do you really love him?" Christina repeated. "I don't know, it's just that when we're together I can't feel anything" she said stuttering. "If you don't love him, then that's unfair. He loves you Mer. And if you can't give back that love then you should tell him" Christina replied.

They continued packing her things. They went to the airport and flew home. Inside the plane, she was thinking about the things Christina told her. She was right she's being unfair, Derek loves him so much but she can't give back that love. She closed her eyes and think about how she could fix all her mistakes.
