*Senior Year*

My phone buzzed as a news report popped up on it. "We come to you now with revelations about last weeks attack in London. An anonymous source provided this video. It shows Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, moments before his death. You may find this video disturbing," the news reporter said.

"I managed to send the elemental back, but I don't think I'm gonna make it off this bridge alive. Spider man attacked me. He has an army of drones, Stark technology. He's saying he's gonna be the new Iron Man. No one else," Beck said and I could feel my blood boiling at the sight of him.

"Are you sure you want to commence the drone attack? There will be significant casualties," EDITH's voice said.

"Do it. Execute them all," Peter's voice said and then the video ended. I knew exactly how that fight went down and that was not it. "This shocking video was released earlier today on the controversial news website TheDailyBugle.net," the reporter said and I closed out of the app and I went to text Peter. But before I could his name appeared in a notification on my phone.

Peter: Did you see the news?
Me: Yeah, it's insane!
Peter: Beck revealed my identity!

At that text message my body froze.

Me: I didn't see that part. Are you serious?
Peter: Yeah.

I looked at the news article again and the video of mysterio still had a few seconds left on it. "Spider-Man's real- Spider-man's real name is Peter Parker!" Mysterio said and then the video stopped for real this time.

I moved towards a shadow and I disappeared into it and appeared in the kitchen of Peter's apartment. As I walked into the living room the news was on and it was live footage of the apartment. "Peter," I said while pointing at the tv. "When did you get here?" He asked.

"Like ten seconds ago. Anyway, there here, at the apartment," I said while pointing at the Tv. "Is that here?" Happy asked and Peter walked over to the closed window blind and opened it. May looked out the window to see people and helicopters everywhere.

The one thing you were comfortable with was interrogations and that is exactly what I was going through at this moment. I knew exactly how to manipulate the questions they were asking. I was trained in the same way. "Santana Maximoff, related to Wanda Maximoff, I assume?" The officer asked and I nodded.

"And she is currently on the run for having a whole town under her control?" He asked and I gave him a confused look. "I'm afraid I don't see the point of this question,"I said, I knew exactly what he was trying to do. He was trying to get me to admit to something to either incriminate Peter or Wanda and I wasn't going to fall for it. "The point of this question is that you are related to a wanted superhero," the officer said.

"And? I'm sure your related to someone like that too. I still don't see the point," I said and I could visibly see that he was getting irritated with me. Which is exactly what I wanted. "Fine, I'll get to the point. You have been helping Peter Parker with all of his past vigilante fights, right? How did you get into that?" He asked and I thought very carefully about my answer.

"Tony Stark had assigned me to watch over the antics of the new hero," I said.

"And you kept that assignment even after Tony Stark died?" The officer asked.

"Yes," I said.

"So that means you were an accomplice?" He asked he seem desperate to get something from me. "An accomplice to what?" I asked knowing that it'll drive him insane. "To the Quentin Beck murder," the officer said as he rubbed his temples. He was controlling his anger better than I had expected. "Oh, right. No. Cause he wasn't murdered," I said.

This was a very long process the interviewing not getting anywhere and I was not telling him anything incriminating.

I was sitting at the table after being released from the police station. "Wait, so you annoyed him so much that he let you go?" MJ asked as I was on the phone with her. "Yeah, turns out it's really easy," I said.

"You didn't say anything incriminating did you?" She asked.

"No, he barely got past the first question," I said.

"Good. But that's amazing that you annoyed him so much that he gave up," MJ said and I laughed. "I know, right? I mean I at least expected it to take an hour or so, but no. It took twenty minutes," I said.

I turned on my TV and a news broadcast started to play. "Stark Industries was caught in the web of the Spider-Man-Mysterio controversy today, when federal agents opened an investigation into missing Stark technology," The reporter said and I groaned. "Damn it, they dragged Pepper into this too," I said as I watched the broadcast further. "Are you serious?" MJ asked.

"Yup," I answered.

"Agents wanna know exactly what was taken and whether or not it is dangerous," said the reporter.

"This is insane," I said.

"Tell me about it. I haven't seen you or Peter at school since this whole thing started. I mean I don't blame you, but I miss having you guys around," MJ said.

"I never thought I would say this, but I actually miss school," I said.

May had hired a lawyer from Hell's Kitchen to take on Peter's case and so far I were glad that she choose him. "That's great. Thank you," Mr. Murdock said as he hung up the phone. "Well, I have some good news, Peter. I don't believe any of the charges against you are going to stick," Mr. Murdock said.

"Wait, seriously?" Peter asked.

"That's great!" I said.

"Oh my god, Mr. Murdock, thank you. That's amazing," Peter said, I could visibly see him relax. "You're welcome," Mr. Murdock said.

"However, Mr. Hogan. The feds are investigating that missing technology. I understand your loyalty to Mr. Stark and his legacy, but if you were involved I advise securing a lawyer," Mr. Murdock said.

"I need a lawyer cause I'm under investigation? You said there's no charge. I could say under advisement of counsel, I refuse to answer the question respectfully because the answer can incriminate me?" Happy said as he started to panic.

"I know that's what you think. Calm down. Let's hear what he had to say. Matt?" May asked.

"You're gonna need a really good lawyer. Peter, you may have dodged your legal troubles but things will get much worse. There is still a court of public opinion," Mr. Murdock said and the sound of glass breaking put me on edge. A break came towards Peter, but before he could catch it Mr. Murdock did. Peter and I shared a confused look at the fact that Mr. Murdock caught the brick.

"How did you just do that?" Peter asked as he took the brick out of Mr. Murdock's hand. "I'm a really good lawyer," Mr. Murdock said and my eyebrows went up to show my disbelief. "We're gonna need a safer place to live," May said.
