No Way Home: Chapter 25

"Now, all we gotta do is lure these guys someplace. Try to cure them while they try to kill us, and then send them home," one of the Peter's said.

"Easy enough," I said sarcastically and I received a few surprised looks. "I was being sarcastic," I explained.

"So, are you gonna go into battle dresses as a cool youth pastor, or do you got your suit?" One of the Peter's said and the other one pulled his shirt down slightly to show the collar of his suit. "Good," the other said.

"Here's your web cartridges," Ned said as he handed them over to Peter. "Oh, thanks, man," Peter said.

"What's that for?" One of the Peter's asked.

"Uh, it's for my web fluid. It's for my web shooters. Why?" Peter asked, one of the other universe Peter shot a web out of his wrist without any contraptions. "Did that just come out of you?" I asked.

"Yeah. You can't do that, huh?" The other world Peter asked directed to my universes Peter. "No," Peter said.

"How on earth does that even?" The other Peter asked but got cut off by my universes Peter bring the focus back to the plan. "We're getting sidetracked. This is where we'll do this, okay? It's isolated, so no one should get hurt. We draw them there with the box. It's the thing they all want. All we have to do is figure out how to we are going to get there," Peter said.

"We can portal there," Ned said and I and Peter looked towards him in confusion. "What?" Peter asked.

"I'm magic now," Ned said and I smiled.

"Yeah, he's right. He can," MJ said.

"That's so cool," I said.

"Yeah, we saw," one of the Peter's said.

"Yeah, he is," the other one said.

"Wait, really?" Peter asked and Ned nodded eagerly. "I got Doctor Strange magic. I promise you, I won't turn into a supervillain and try to kill you," Ned said and one of the Peter's patted on a the back and gave him a look of approval. "Okay. Thank you. Alright here's go nothing," Peter said.

I teleported to the Statue of Liberty and I could help but feel nerves start to pile into my stomach. "I checked the perimeter. So for no one can be seen," I said and I felt a chill go down my spine. My face dropped and filled with concern. "What's wrong?" Peter asked.

"You can't sense it?" I asked and he gave me a confused look. "Sense what?" He asked and pain shot through my head and my ears began to ring. I let out a scream and brought my hands to my ears. "They can't hear it, Santana. Only you can," Wanda's voice said in my head. "Now, where is that box?" She asked and the ringing started to fade away, so did the pain. "Why don't you come and find it," I said.

"Santana, what's going on?" Peter asked and the other two Peter's joined him. "It's Wanda. She's in my head," I said and the ringing and pain returned. "Fine," Wanda said and then the ringing and pain stopped for good this time. "Are you okay?" Peter asked as he helped me to a standing position. "Yeah, I'm fine. That was so weird," I said and I had a slight headache now.

"Damn it," I whispered and I turned around and immediately had to catch a blast coming my way. "They're here," I said as I sent the blast back at Wanda. Amelia appeared in front of me and I disappeared into one of the shadows. Lightning and thunder could be heard as the other villains arrived.

I appeared behind Wanda and I snuck up behind her and before I could do anything she turned around and shot magic at me. "Wanda! You need to stop! Do you really think that if Sanyana and Vision were alive that they would want you to be doing this?" Amelia asked, she was trying to distract her. More and more villains started to show up.

Wanda turned her attention to Amelia and she tilted her head. I snuck up behind Wanda and I placed my hand by her head and black mist started to appear and Wanda's body relaxed and her eyes turned black. "I'm sorry, Wanda," I said as I pulled my hand back and then with all my might, I pushed the magic at her and she fell to the floor unconscious. I felt tired after that attack, for something so small it took a lot of energy.

"Okay, one down, five more to go," I said.

"Actually four more. They got Flint," Amelia said and I nodded. "Who are they working on now?" I asked.

"Max," She replied.

"Okay, let's go give them some back up," I said, Amelia and I started to move to where Max was floating. "It worked best when we could trap him so if we can do that and grab the arc reactor then we should be good," I explained.

"Got it," Amelia said and I paused before Max could see me. Black mist covered him and he looked around as he couldn't move anymore. He managed to shot an electric shock through my powers, but then Amelia appeared in front of Max and ripped off the arc reactor. Then Doc Ock showed up and he helped with getting the cure to Max.

I could hear MJ and Ned talking and I started to panic. "Stay here and help them. I'll be right back," I said as everyone was busy around me. I teleported in front of the portal which made the both jump. "Why isn't the portal closed?" I asked.

"We don't know," Ned said as he hurriedly tried to close the portal. "Santana, the lizard is coming this way!" MJ said and I turned around. "Oh, shit. Why did it have to be the lizard," I said and I sent magic at it but it didn't falter. Black mist covered the lizards body and he stopped moving, but it was getting increasingly difficult to keep him there.

"Close the portal! I can't keep him here for long," I said as I tried my best to give Ned the time he needs to figure out what to do. The lizard broke out of my grasp and my eyes widened. "Run!" I yelled to Ned and MJ, the Lizard ran right past me and into the portal. I ran in behind him and I grabbed onto him and I started to mess with his mind which slowed him down.

"Get out of here!" I yelled as the lizard started to come out of whatever trance I put him in. Ned and MJ ran out of the portal and onto the Statue of Liberty. The lizard threw me off of him and ran after them. I stood up quickly which caused me to stumble slightly, but I pushed it aside and ran after him.

The lizard chased after Ned and MJ endlessly and I couldn't keep up with him. I teleported in front of the group and I waited for MJ and Ned to run past me and then I stepped in the way of the lizard. A portal opened and water came out of it. I moved out of the way and grabbed onto one of the rafters.

MJ grabbed the cure for the lizard and she through it and I caught it. I held it up so the lizard would get the cure instead of one of my limbs. The cure activated and green smoke covered the lizard entirely. I teleported up to MJ and Ned and he was opening another portal, which he succeeded in. But Strange came through it. I appeared in front of him and he gave me an annoyed look.

"Our plan worked, Strange. So please let us finish this, then we can send them back," I said.

"What plan?" Strange asked.

"He's curing them," Ned said and Strange looked over the railing and saw a now human Dr. Conners. "That was the lizard, by the way," I said.

"Well, I'll be damned. Did you just open a portal?" Strange asked directed towards Ned. "Yes, sir. I did," Ned said and Strange just looked at him before walking away.

"Can the Spider-Man come out to play?" A loud voice yelled and I froze in my spot. There was a large explosion and part of the platform started to break underneath MJ. I pulled her off the broken platform, but I accidentally went over the edge. I had no resources to help myself and I could see Peter coming to get me, but the Green Goblin grabbed him before he could catch me.
