No Way Home: Chapter 26

A different Peter caught me and I was sure my eyes were wide. "Are you okay?" Peter 3 asked and I nodded still terrified by the fact I almost fell to my death. "Yeah, I'm okay. Are you okay?" I asked as I took in his saddened demeanor. He nodded in reply and he placed me down. "Thank you," I said and he just nodded.

The shield that was connected to the Statue of Liberty came crashing down towards the two of us. I used my magic to redirect it to the water. "Thank you, again," I said as I started to run towards where the shield landed. Once I was in a clearing I looked up and noticed cracks in the sky.

"Ned! MJ!" I yelled as I looked away from the sky. I saw the two of them running down stairs. I tackled them into a hug. "Are you okay?" MJ asked and I nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Are you guys okay?" I asked and they nodded. "That was a little scary," Ned said.

"Tell me about it," I said with a laugh and Ned laughed along with me. I started to look around in hopes that I would see Peter somewhere. "Have any of you seen Peter?" I asked and they both shrugged. "I haven't seen him since he was hit with the flying platform thing," Ned said.

"Santana!" I heard Peter yell and my attention was brought to where the shield was. I looked down, "Ned! MJ!" Peter yelled.

"Peter! Hey!" I yelled trying to let him know where we are. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"We're okay!" I yelled back and I could see him relax.   The Goblin stood from where he was and him and Peter started to fight. The other Peter's joined Ned, MJ, and I. "He's going to kill him," I said.

"What?" MJ asked.

"He stopped pulling his punches," I said and when you turned around the other two Peter's were gone and they were already by the shield. Peter was about to bring down the Goblin's platform onto the Goblin, but a different Peter caught it. I couldn't tell which one it was. Peter dropped the platform and then I watched as the Goblin stabbed the Peter that saved him.

Amelia stood next to me and she sighed. "The wizard guy is about to send us back. I thought I would say bye first," Amelia said and I nodded. She pulled me into a hug. "I miss you so much," Amelia said into my ear. "I know you're actually not her, but I'm glad I get to say goodbye to you this time," Amelia said.

"I miss you too," I said and she disappeared out of my arms. I closed my eyes and I dropped my arms. "That hurt, didn't it?" MJ asked and I nodded. "Yeah, more than you would think," I said.

Peter landed in front of me and I practically tackled him in a hug. "You're okay!" I said and Ned and MJ joined in on the hug. "Are you okay?" Peter asked.

"Yeah, we're okay," I said.

"Oh my god, you're bleeding," Peter said as he looked at the scratch I had on my face which must've reopened at some point. "I'm fine," I said.

"You sure?" He asked and I nodded. "I promise, I'm fine. I've dealt with worse," I said amused by his worry. "We should go, right?" MJ asked.

"Yeah. You're gonna forget who I am," Peter said and I started to panic, more internally than externally. "What?" Ned asked.

"What do you mean forget who you are?" MJ asked.

"Forget who you are? What are you talking about?" I asked.

"It's okay. I'm going to come and find you and I'll explain everything. I'll make you remember me. And it'll be like none of this ever happened. Okay?" Peter said.

"But what if that doesn't work? What if we can't remember you? I don't wanna do that," I said.

"I know, Santana," Peter said.

"There's not something we can do? We can't come up with a plan or something?" I asked and looking between MJ and Peter. "There's nothing we can do. But it'll be okay," Peter said.

"You promise?" Ned asked.

"Yeah, I promise," Peter said and Ned held out his hand so they could do their handshake. "I'll come find you okay?" Peter said and he pulled away from the hug. "I know you will," Ned said and I wiped a tear off my face. "You better," MJ said as she hugged him.

"If you don't, I'll just figure it out," I said and he pulled me into kiss. He pulled away a few seconds later and then swung away. The spell started to take affect. I could see the spell going over the sky and the further it got away from us the more I got confused. "What are we doing here?" MJ asked and I looked at her. "Huh, I don't know," I said.

"We should go, my parents are probably worried sick," Ned said and I nodded. "Santana, are you okay? You look like you've been crying," MJ said and I nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. I don't know why I would be crying," I said.

Ned and I were sitting at the counter of MJ's work and we were talking about the day. "You want to know the worst part?" I asked as I was talking about the worst and funniest presentation to go down during my history class. "What?" MJ asked.

"She threw up, all over the floor," I said and MJ grimaced. "That's disgusting," Ned said as he put down his donut. The door opened and an oddly familiar guy walked in. "Santana, are you okay?" Ned asked as my eyes followed the guy up to the cashier. "Yeah, I just feel like I know him," I said and Ned looked behind him. "Oh, he goes to our school. I don't remember his name, though," Ned said and I nodded.

The guy walked over towards the end of the counter to wait for his ordered. "Hi, I'm Peter," the guy said as he held his hand out for me to shake. "Santana," I said as I accepted his hand. The name had triggered something in my brain and he seemed confused by the fact that I left my hand in his. He had hope in his eyes and I felt relief surge through my body. "It was nice meeting you, Peter," I said as I dropped my hand.

All of memories filled my brain and he had left the cafe already. "I'll be right back," I said and I stood from my chair and I exited the cafe. "Peter!" I yelled while running up to him and tackling him in a hug. "You remember?" He asked with the hope returning to his eyes. I nodded and he sighed in relief and he tightened the hug. "I'm so glad you remember," he whispered into my ear. "Me too," I said.

"I'll text you later," I said as I pulled away and then I thought for a moment. "Wait, did the spell remove your number from my phone?" I asked and Peter shrugged. "I don't know how that works," Peter said and I pulled out my phone and I started to look through my phone. "Oh, you're still here," I said, the emotions flowing through my body were overwhelming. Peter grabbed my face and pulled me into a kiss.

I walked back into the cafe. "What was that about?" MJ asked.

"What was what about?" I asked as I walked back over to my spot and sat down. "You running after that guy. I thought you didn't know him," MJ asked curious about the situation. "Did you get his number?" MJ asked as a smile grew on her face. "I'll tell you later," I said and MJ eyes widened. "Oh my god! You did!" MJ said.

"Wait, I want to know too!" Ned said and I laughed. "I'll Group FaceTime later," I said while I checked the time and I quickly stood up and grabbed my coffee. "I need to go, I have a job interview," I explained.

"Okay, call us when you get home!" MJ said and I nodded. "I always do, MJ," I said, ever since she found out about me being a hero she made me call her every time I get home, just to be sure that I was safe. I walked out of the cafe and down the street.

I was still in disbelief that I actually remembered. Now I was really hoping that I could make Ned and MJ remember too. That would be something I needed to find out by trying.

A/n- The next few chapters are going to be based off of the Multiverse of Madness movie, but it will not be following the plot of the movie. I will be changing it to how I think it should've gone since they completely erased Wanda's character arc in Wandavision. So technically canonically for the movies, the story ends here. But you can just think about this as a new storyline for
Santana and Wanda because the next chapters will not be following the plot of Multiverse of Madness at all. It will keep a few of the themes of the movie and a little bit of the plot.
