PROLOGUE

It's been four days since I've started working here, maayos naman yung lagay ko dito. Napaka professional din ni Yuri, pero ang maldita niya sa mga employees na pumapalpak. Hindi ko na din tinanong kung may anak ba talaga siya. Eh pake ko ba.

Speaking of, pumasok siya at dumeretso sa couch at binuksan ang laptop, my gosh! Napaka cold ng aura.

"Morning" She said coldly, ano ba problema nitong babaeng to? Baka dino days na niya. Hindi ako sumagot at nagkunwaring busy sa computer. Hmp, hindi ako natatakot sa kaniya no. "I said Morning"

"Ay! G-good morning din Miss Yuri" Hindi ko namalayang nasa tabi ko na pala siya at bumubulong. I awkwardly smiled at her.

"Busy?....hmm Solitaire" She chuckled coldly as she stared into my pc. Umagang kay buwesit na naman siya. Lakas talaga ng amats ng babaeng to, parang araw-araw silang may away ng kuya ko. Bumalik siya sa couch at nag focus sa laptop niya. "Did you eat breakfast?" She suddenly asked without looking at me.

"No, but I had coffee" Tinaasan niya lang ako ng kilay.

"That's not enough to start a day" she said blankly, tumayo ito at naglakad patungo sa pinto. "I'll get breakfast" ang lamig whoo grabe yung aura niya today, daig pa niya yung mga witch. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at nilagay ang ulo sa table.

Napaupo ako ng maayos ng may biglang kumatok. Ambilis naman niyang bumalik, si flash ba siya?. I was about to ask Yuri ba't ang bilis niya, but it was a guy that came in, he's the  guy that approached me at the party back in Paris. My eyes widened, he also brought a boquet of roses and isang paper bag.

"Hi, do you remember me?" He asked and I stood up to approach him, he gave me the flowers and the paper bag. "I suppose you didn't have your breakfast yet"

"Ay nag-abala ka pa, Thank you for these." I said smiling and placed the things on my table. I motioned him to sit on the couch. "What brings you here....what's  your name again?" He chuckled.

"Zedrick....Zedrick Hudson" he said and an O formed on my lips.

"Oh! You're Zedrick...right, ikaw yung nasa party sa Paris" He nodded and plastered a smile. "What brings you he---" hindi ko na natapos yung sasabihin ko when Yuri walks in na may dalang paper bag.

"What are you doing here?" She coldly said at matalas na tingin ang ibinigay nito kay Zedrick.

"Oh Yuri, I'm here to visit Nicole, I'm about to talk business with her." He explained.

"Get.out.now" She said with authority and coldness mixed together. Can't lie though she's super hot. "I said get out Rick"

"This is not your office Yuri, why are you like that?" Zedrick looks at me hoping not to let him out but I couldn't say anything because Yuri's eyes are fuming in anger.

"No! GET OUT!" he stood up and fix his suit. He gave me a smile and nodded.

"Geez, chill bruh" He said hands in the air. "I'll talk to you some other time" he said kissing me on my cheek and went out.

"Why's he here?" Paktay ang lamig.

"I don't know, he came in lang...and I saw my schedule na may Zedrick Hudson doon, I didn't know it wa----" hindi ko na naman natapos when she shouted.

"WHAT?!" I couldn't speak. Gosh Nicole why are you scared. "You let that freak come in here?" She chuckled sarcastically.

"He seems like a good guy naman, why are you being lik----" naputol na naman.

"C'mon Nicole! If only you knew!" Napasabunot siya ng buhok. She calmed herself. "Okay, Just promise me you won't get near him ever again." She seriously looked at me.

"Why? What's with him? Ba't kita susundin" I said with authority. Ha kala mo ikaw lang ha.

"Edi wag!" She scoffed at pabagsak niyang nilagay yung bag sa table at aakmang paalis. But I held her wrist at iniharap siya sakin. Ang hindi ko talaga gusto sa isang tao, ay ang walang ka galang galang.

"What's with you and your attitude? Ba't parang dinidikta mo lahat ng mga ginagawa ko?" Nagpumiglas siya but I held her tightly. "Why are you being selfish?...Ba't parang wala akong karapatang gawin yung gusto ko"  I dropped her hands.

"Sino ka ba?" Napa awang yung labi niya nung sinabi ko yon. "Sino ka ba sa buhay ko at parang ginagawa mo akong alipin?" I coldly said. "Ano ba tayo? Asawa ka lang naman ng kapatid ko pero kung maka asta ka...ikaw ang nag mamay-ari ng mu---"

Isang sampal ang nakuha ko mula sakaniya. Bigla akong nanlumo ng mapagtanto yung mga sinabi kong masasakit na salita.

"Kahit kailan hindi kita tinuring na alipin at kahit kailan hindi ako ASAWA lang"

Lumapit siya sakin at bumulong.

"Sino ako? Asawa mo" I was in shock with what she said. She grabbed my nape before I could even react and kissed me harshly but I didn't open my mouth. What in the world are you doing to me Yuri Lux, parang sasabog na yung puso ko. After a few seconds, she let me go.

"What the hell?!"

I look at where the voice came from at naitulak si Yuri palayo, pabilis ng pabilis ang tibok ng puso ko, lumayo kay Yuri at tumungo doon sa nag salita.
