CHAPTER 15

Today is my birthday, masaya ba ako? No. Should I celebrate? No. May kasama ba ako? Yes.

I'm here sa coffee shop ni Cece with Riri. The ambience here is so calming, mapaparelax ka talaga while sipping coffee. Pero may na ririnig talaga akong mga party songs pero hindi naman talaga maririnig pag hindi mo e focus yung hearing doon. I shrugged, baka sa malayong bar yun tapos malakas yung sound system nila.

We're actually waiting for our friends here dahil gagala daw kami. Hindi naman nila sinabi kung saan at baka kakain lang kami ng dinner.

Riri's busy with her phone, kanina pa talaga siya diyan eh. Ni halos hindi niya na napapansing andito ako kasama niya.

"Pssst" She hummed eyes still fixated on her screen. "Pssst" She looked at me and I pouted. She giggled and moved to peck my cheeks. I smiled.

"Eww Riri baka mainlove ka sakin ah" I playfully said. Hinampas naman ako sa braso. Apakagago

"Hindi mo naman ako pinapansin eh" I crossed my arms and leaned my back sa couch.

Hindi parin niya ako pinansin, I'm so bored, dead batt kase yung phone ko at pina charge nalang sa staff. "Babe!" I scoffed she looked at me with amused eyes.

"Wow, It's the first time I heard you say that" She said and shut her phone off at lumapit sakin to hug me.

"Happy birthday my person hehehe yieee kinilig siya" I stopped myself the urge to smile pero lumabas talaga yung ngiti ko pero hindi ko parin siya tinatapunan ng tingin. Ako naman babawi sayo kala mo ah. "Sorry naaaa" She said as she handed me a box. I looked at her pero she nodded and smiled. I took the box and opened it, my eyes widened and lips slightly opened.

She gave me a watch, not just a watch it's the one I kept eyeing when we went to paris. Hindi ko kayang bilhin that time kase mahal, though may pera naman ako hindi ko lang talaga mahanapan ng rason why I need to buy it. And my best girl here bought it for me, I was teary eyed when I hugged her tightly.

"Thank you Riri, thank you for always being
here for me" I said as tears went down my cheek. She caressed my back.

"I should be the one thanking you, you loved and cared for me when my parents and siblings couldn't" she broke our hug and stared at me. "The gifts I gave you aren't enough to thank you for all the things you've done for me. I love you" She said as tears flowed down. Nag-iiyakan na kami parang timang.

"Ano bayan! Para na tayong nasa teleserye! Apaka drama, pero seryoso...I love you more Ri, Ikaw lang sapat na yieeee HAHAHAH-------" naputol ang pag tawa namin  nung pumasok sila Cece, Alana at.....Ava?

"Hi lovee!" Bati ni Ava sabay lapit sakin at hinalikan ako sa labi.

I was shocked in the inside pero hindi ko yun pinalabas. I looked at the three of them. Their eyes turned round in surprise and confusion.

I gaze at Ava, she gave me a 'just go with the flow' look. I immediately stood up and smiled at them awkwardly. Tumabi ako kay Ava holding her waist now facing them. Buti nalang talaga kami lang ngayon dito.

"Uh...guys, Ava my g-girlfriend"

"What?!" Sabay sigaw nilang tatlo. Napapikit ako, ano bang balak ni Ava.

Napag usapan na namin to last time sa bahay after kong bumaba galing sa kwarto with Yuri. Na, tapos na yung plano, she agreed with it. I don't have any clue what she's up to but I guess baka may plano din siya.

"Nicole?" Iritadong tanong ni Riri.

"Ava? What's this?" Alalang tanong ni Alana

I was about to say something pero biglang nagsalita si Cece when her phone buzzed. Whoo muntikan na 'yon, hindi ko alam isasagot.
