You stepped off the bus you were on with your entire class. You'd all paid up to go on a trip to new york for senior year, and boy was it pretty. The sun was setting, and everything was sweaty, the warm summer sun was no good in a bus full of stinky teens. You stared around you, taking in the sight of the old buildings. it looked so much different from Jersey, way livelier and younger. Your three teachers escorted you all out of the bus stop and wandered through the city, you just peered around happily, happy you were finally gonna do something interesting. While your mind dazed off into pure bliss, you tripped over a brick and clumsily stumbled into one of your classmate's backs. You apologized profusely and stared up at the tall man. The sun was hitting him from behind, but you could surely tell who it was. Ray Toro, the guy you'd had a crush on for years. You'd only talked a couple of times, though.

"Geez, I-I'm so sorry, I tripped I—"You blurted out with a stutter. Ray smiled down at you cutely and shook his head.

"Don't worry about it," Ray giggled warmly. "You okay?"

"Y-yeah I just tripped," You nodded, staring down at your feet as you continued the walk to your hotel. You were surprised by its fanciness when you stopped at the entrance. The floor was white marble, and the walls were a golden wallpapered pattern. A shiny chandelier hung from the ceiling and the lady at the front desk seemed oddly sophisticated.

"Alright guys, wait outside, and please gather in groups of two. You'll be sharing rooms tonight." Your teacher announced as soon as he got all the amazed kids under control. He stepped into the building, and you watched him talk to the lady at the front desk through the glass doors. Chatter burst out around you as people gathered their roommates.
You peeked around to see if ray was still free but didn't spot him. You figured he must've chosen to share a room with his friends instead. You weren't too keen on sharing a room with one of the chads of your class, but it would have to suffice. You looked around to see if any single kids were also looking for a roommate when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around to be faced with Ray a second time, he smiled and waved politely.

"Hey," He muttered. "Are you on your own too?"

You nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I guess so. Shouldn't you be with your friends though?" You peeked behind ray curiously, checking for his little group of friends he usually had with him.

"No," Ray shrugged. "Frank and Mikey are both in a different grade, so they couldn't come. Besides, Gerard's sharin' a room with his girlfriend. So, d'you want me to be your roomie?" Ray tilted his head cutely, his curls bouncing softly as he did so.

"Sure," You shrugged casually even though you were freaking out on the inside. "I'll try not to keep you up too much." You joked. Ray chuckled at your playfulness and peeked over your head at your teacher walking out of the door. He had a bunch of keys in his hand and was handing them out to your classmates. It took a while for the two of you to receive your keys since you were further back in the crowd, but at least the elevator was empty.
The wheels of your suitcase were loud and echoed through the main lobby. You made your way to the elevator and stepped in it with two other people. You and Ray had a room on the 5th floor. Your walk through the carpeted halls was silent, but small giggles and gasps were pulled from the two of you as you entered your overly fancy hotel room.

"Geez, they really went all out, huh?" Ray mumbled while turning on the lights. Both of you were quick to notice that there was only one bed. A big one, but just one. You stared at each other confusedly, then back at the bed you were gonna have to share. "Huh, maybe they made a mistake. I'll go check in downstairs, 'kay?" Ray scurried out of the room, and you sat down at the small table in the corner of the room.
One side of you was kinda glad you were gonna have to share a bed with ray, but the other was embarrassed. Were you really gonna share a bed with some guy you barely knew? Ray was quick to come back upstairs, a slight blush lingered on his cheeks. "So, um, they said we got a double bed because all the rooms with two beds are all booked."
