To say you were stressed out would be an understatement.

It had been a long day, as your coworker Kathy was moving away, and you had spent the day in meeting regarding all her work that you would now be taking on. At some point you had volunteered to bring in cupcakes for her going away party, which you had forgotten about until you were leaving the office. One trip to the busiest grocery store in history and a long slow commute, and you were finally home.

The cupcakes had already finished baking and you were finally to the last step, frosting. You sighed as you glanced at the clock and saw it was late. Past the time when you would normally be getting ready for bed.

Just then the door quietly opened and shut as your boyfriend Mikey came in from spending the evening with his brother Gerard.

"You don't need to be quiet Mikey, I'm not in bed," you called.

"What are you still doing up?" He asked, following your voice into the kitchen.

"Waiting to frost the damn cupcakes," you sighed as he came up behind you, wrapping his arms around you and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

"Are they for me?" He asked hopefully.

"No, they're for stupid Kathy at work who is moving to stupid Iowa," you grumbled. "Des Moines. Who goes to Des Moines?"

"Do you want any help?"

"No, that's ok, it won't take long. I'm just waiting for them to cool a little more," you said turning around in his arms to hug him. "Go to bed if you're tired."

"Nah, I wanna make you smile, you seem stressed out," he smiled down at you, but you didn't notice that was just a distraction for him sliding his fingers to your sides. Then he began tickling you.

"Mikey! Stop it!" You yelped, laughing and trying to wiggle away from him. "Quit it or I'll bite!"

Mikey was laughing now. "You'll bite me? Are you a vampire or something?"

"Maybe!" You laughed as he let you slip out of his reach. "Just for that, you're helping me frost cupcakes."

"Good, I'm happy to help."
